A number of NXT wrestlers have made surprising appearances overseas over the past 24 hours. Alexander Wolfe and Marcel Barthel (formerly Axel Dieter, Jr.) made a surprise appearance at wXw in Germany for the wXw 17th anniversary show, reuniting with RINGKAMPF members WALTER and Timothy Thatcher.  Kairi Sane returned to Stardom earlier today for Yoko Bito's retirement show, presenting her with flowers and joining the Stardom roster in the ring to close the show. NXT's Kassius Ohno was in attendance at yesterday's DDT show. I assume that he is in Japan to visit Rachael Ellering who made her Stardom debut this weekend.     |

I thought I saw Hero in the audience at DDT's show yesterday, which would make sense as Cabana was in the main event.

I thought I saw Hero in the audience at DDT's show yesterday, which would make sense as Cabana was in the main event. That may have been the show where that gif was from, actually. I assumed it was the Stardom show because Ellering was on the show. |

...they named a German guy Marcel? For f***'s sake... No, he uses his real name until they are ready to debut him with a name they create. He used a fake name "Axel Dieter, Jr." in wXw. In NXT, he uses his real name while he works live events. They did the same thing with Andrade Almas who worked under his real name (Manny Andrade) on live events before they were ready to call him up. They also did this with Abbey Laith, Vanessa Borne, Sonya Deville, and Velveteen Dream. They are currently doing this with Christopher Dijak. |
