Who is going to be the next “wtf” Hall of Fame inductee ala Koko B Ware or Johnny Rodz?

The Boogeyman? Santino? Man even they seem more credible than Koko and Rodz.

I think the rumor was that they were gonna induct General fn Adnan next year. That would be the worst inductee ever. Like the bar would be so low that Carlito and Mr Kennedy become candidates hahah

Koko was a star in the territories who everyone remembers from that era.
Rodz trained a metric boatload of guys. They qualify perfectly adequately in my opinion.
Drew Carey et al is where the issues lie

Like the bar would be so low that Carlito and Mr Kennedy become candidates hahah Adnan Al-Kassie also wrestled as Billy White Wolf and held the WWWF tag team belts with Chief Jay Strongbow. He also brought the WWWF to various locations in the Middle East during the 70's, challenged for tag team championships in Japan and feuded with top talent in New Japan. He had a long run in the 80's in the AWA as a wrestler and then primarily as one of the top heel managers along with Bobby Heenan. Kassie managed Ken Patera, Jerry Blackwell, Bruiser Brody and other top heels in the AWA. So explain to me why this would be the worst inductee ever, please?

Koko and Rodz are more deserving than Beth Phoenix. Koko was over a bunch of places, and would have probably had a much better career in the WWF if they were interested in pushing an Africian-American star in the late 80s.

The Brooklyn Brawler was nominated in 2007 and so it wouldn't surprise me if he's the next preliminary guy to go in.

If Koko had been taller or Vince hadn't had a big man fetish, he would have gotten a push. I'm not saying main event, he wouldn't have been moving Hogan out the door. But IC champ/gatekeeper to Hogan? That would have worked.
As it was, he still had a long run.

Depends on who you ask. For me, Koko dancing to the ring with Frankie and dropping jobbers with the Ghostbuster is more memorable than Santino's run.

Seems like many are living in a WWF/E bubble. So am I, but I don't measure Koko's or Adnan's merits by their respective WWF runs.

Yep and even if folks want to ignore his work elsewhere, Koko was over as f*** despite being a JTTS 70% of the time. He excelled at making whoever he was in there with look like a killer.

Most people from the Ruthless Aggression/PG Era. It's too soon (see: Phoenix, Beth. Who was there to hide the elephant in the room of Chyna and her passing)

Whoa I didn't know Sheik Adnan had another gimmick and was in the wwwf, I thought he had been all of his life in the AWA and then had the brief wwf run in the 90s. Ok I concede, Adnan ain't the worst. He's below Koko but above Johnny Rodz and James Dudley.

I share the opinion expressed by Ricky Steamboat in the awa documentary. That he didn't believe Verne Gagne should be in the wwe hall of fame because Verne wasn't known for even wrestling in that territory except for a couple of matches. There's already the observer hall of fame and the cauliflower alley club, they honor talent based on their whole resume, I believe the wwe hall of fame should only honor talent based on what they did in the wwe. Koko was a huge draw and star in Memphis and other territories, but in the wwf he was above a jobber, not exactly wwe hall of fame material but he definitely deserves a spot in other halls of fame. Sting shouldn't also be in the wwe hall of fame in my opinion, if you really think about it, the guy only had two matches in the wwe.

Lets not slander the absolutely deserving Beth Phoenix here who carried the women's division across two generations and gave us the I Quit match with Melina, the Survivor Series match with Eve (that had the most insane bump a woman's match had at that point this decade), the stellar farewell match with Nattie, the pairing with Santino (Which was the best part of Raw for a while) and really bridged the gap for the WWE women's divisions today.
Only reason she went that early is because WWE likes to induct superstars as close to their hometowns as possible, and no Mania is headed to New York any time soon.

Thus, accomplishments in that world should be recognized.
