What did you buy with it? For me, it was a copy of NFL 95 on the Sega Genesis, and a VHS copy of Speed. What does this say about me? That my first paycheck was in the fall of 1994 haha.

my paper route in late-1992. I had to save up for two or three months to be able to afford a Super Nintendo and Final Fantasy II (IV). I was twelve.

I was 19, got some money from my shelf stacking job which went on some tablets to cure a hangover and a McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese meal.

I'd been paid in cash before for stuff, but first time I got a proper paycheck, I bought Smackdown Vs Raw 2006. Given how much time I've put into that, that seems fair.

I got a job working at my town’s public library when I was in eighth grade (about 1978). It was part time (2 hours a day, 2 days a week) and I was making $1.65 an hour. They paid us weekly and my first paycheck, after taxes, came out to about six bucks.
It went straight into the bank.

Hookers and blow!*
*Not really. Most went into my bank account, after treating myself to some records and games.

First job was working summers on a shrimp boat when I was 12 thru 15. Got paid a percentage of the profits and was paid in cash. First time I got paid bought school clothes and a bunch of comics. After that I mostly spent my money on video games and blank VHS,by this time I was recording every bit of wrestling that aired on channels I got.
Second job was a clerk at a comic shop. Got paid 3 bucks an hour in cash and 2 bucks an hour in store credit. Most of my check each week was spent on gas and comics.
My first actual job where I got a paycheck was when I joined the Army. Got my first check and all bought was shampoo, soap, etc.

Kind of embarrassing to say this but I didn't get my first job until I was 25. In the State where I am located jobs are very hard to come by, unless of course you know someone. A friend of mine put in a word for me and I got hired at our movie theatre where I am still currently employed.
As for my first paycheck? I remember it very vividly too. All of the employees told me their first check was $80.00 to $90.00. I received my first check and it was $175.35 after taxes. I felt like I was literally balling with money. I went and bought three cds, Casino Royale, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, and the first Blade.

First actual paycheck? I got paid $40 at my mom’s office to reorganize some of their files (the owner’s daughter made a mess of them). I bought A tape of Operation: Mindcrime and a few other things.
My first real paycheck? I paid for gas money and college tuition.

First paycheck from a job that had interviews in stuff, gave it to parents since it was customary to do so.
After that, went to a not fast food place and ordered something for myself.

I remember cashing my first paycheck (15 years old) and I was going to go buy stuff and all I could think was "Is this item REALLY worth 5 hours of my time?" I ended up going back to the bank the next day and putting all of it in a new savings account. Man I'm boring... but all my shit is paid for
