Impact fires their ring transportation manager

Impact Wrestling Ring Transportation Manager Bob Rosen revealed on Facebook tonight that he has been let go by the company. Rosen had worked for the company for 13 years, and had suffered a heart attack at last year's television tapings with a 99% blockage of his heart.

"Well it's time to thank everyone who trusted me to build and keep anyone who step foot into one of my rings safe," Rosen wrote. "I'm officially gone from Impact Wrestling (not by my choice!) $.

"The last 13years have been the greatest time in my life from the great talent who showed me much respect for what we did with the rings and cages," Rosen continued. "To the back production people who never got the credit they deserve. These people who come together under great stress and pull off some of the greatest shows you've watched weather it was TNA or IMPACT WRESTLING."

Rosen noted that he will not be gone from wrestling, stating that "I still believe every talent deserves to work in a great ring."

Rosen added, "My passion for this business has taken a hit because of how this staff was treated but I still love wrestling and I will be back. I'm still building the best rings today. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

99% blockage? Maaaaaan, that's a lot of bacon on the road. Hope he's doing okay now.

As for the rest....what are the odds on there not being a ring at their next show and them only realising about 2 hours before the show opens? I mean, they KNOW they need a ring, right? I assume someone else will take it on, maybe Abyss and Borash will drive the truck together. This is the company who got fans to help setup the ring right? In the wrong hands, this could be a disaster.

Unless Russo is back and finally has his wish. No in ring action whatsoever.

In 2009 or so there was a APW Mississippi show were the soundguy forgot to bring the CDs with everyone's entrance music. So everyone came out to something off a AC/DC Greatest Hits CD that one of the guys had in their car. Best part was Jerry Lawler was working the show and came out to Back in Black IIRC.

To be fair, it seems like it's just all about the dude having serious health problems.

The guy didn't want to leave and is crewing the Aro Lucha events that are happening. This is TNA cost cutting, they can just borrow a normal ring from an indie in the area they are taping and will be able to keep things in line with the shit they're taping at various indies as well.

Rosen had worked the Aro Lucha taping several weeks back in Nashville. It's pretty obvious from his statement that the company let him go when they couldn't come to financial terms. There's been talk that with Rosen's departure, the company will again revert to using a traditional four-sided ring, but no official confirmation of that. We'll know when they start to tape TV on 1/10/18 in Orlando, Florida

He also did more than the ring crew:

Bob Rosen, who for many, many years held the position of ‎Ring & Transportation Manager for Impact Wrestling, was let go by the company. Rosen was responsible for the construction of Impact's rings as well as driving them to events and overseeing the ring crew as well a lot of other logistical responsibilities at events, including security, production placement and lots of others jobs that I am forgetting to mention.

Oh wow, he isn't taking time off for health reasons? Jesus yeah that reflects super badly on them that he was fired for cost cutting reasons.
