She gets herself DQ'ed one PPV, then Angle tells her Asuka gets a rematch and if it happens again she's fired or something. Naturally the rematch is Alexa pulling every trick in the book until she eventually gets her face kicked onto the other side of her head the moment Asuka actually catches her with something.

The Bliss character needs to have a major moment of comeuppance. It would be absolutely perfect to have her just get demolished and sent packing. Enough of this 50/50. Everyone is on even footing stuff. Some wrestlers need to be booked as ass kicking mega stars. Period. |

Alexa has done so much shit that having her have a competitive match with Asuka and then losing isn't enough. A loss doesn't equate to what she's done in 2017.

Alexa’s crafty heel ways lets her avoid Asuka for the majority of the time. In desperation, Alexa sneak attacks Asuka in the kick off show of Mania. Asuka wrestles ‘injured’ to make the match look even and that she has the ‘fighting spirit’ helping her eventually win. I don’t think Alexa gets the credit for being great in real storyline feuds. I’m really looking forward to this storyline and how it plays out. Scared, chickenshit heel vs Absolute Domination. The story doesn’t get any better. After the Charlotte match I'm not sure Alexa really knows how to do anything other than dominant heel vs face in peril when it comes to actual one on one matches. While she should get some licks in, this should definitely be Asuka's match, just breaking Alexa down. Not a super fast squash, but no question that Asuka has her number. I think right now it's the best way to make use of the aura they've built around Asuka and as others have mentioned, Alexa needs her comeuppance so badly it's ridiculous. |

However it goes, balanced or not, it should end with Asuka able to pin Bliss, pinning her for two, then pulling her up specifically to put her in the Asuka Lock for the submission win. Give the sense of "Yes, I could have just defeated you and let it be that, but you deserve so much worse than just being defeated."

Definitely not a squash like some people are expecting. Asuka has beaten everyone but (with the exception of Dana Brook) it’s been a competitive match. Steamrolling through the champion does no-one any favours. I don't know the only real competitive matches she's really had were her first couple against Emma, but then I think they realized their mistake as she's been booked as real dominant since then. Since her first two matches she had several squashes local jobbers, two squashes against Dana one of which a 5 second win, and two extended squashes against Alica Fox where she took some licks but really was never in that much trouble. She also was booked real strong in the Survivor Series match, going over while eliminating three of the five members of the other team. As far an Asuka/Alexa goes I'm not even sure it's going to happen at this point at least not at Mania considering how much of a backseat Alexa has taken since the Absolution group debuted. It's been really odd how much of a non entity she's been the last couple of months after how strong she's been pushed since coming to Raw after the shake up. I could honestly see her losing the title at the February PPV and Asuka/Paige being the Mania match although I guess there might be concerns now if Paige can hold up health wise until then. If they do end up doing Asuka/Alexa, I like the injury angle with Asuka someone else suggested. It would even the playing field and give Asuka something to overcome while avoiding the "Alexa is too small and not a good enough wrestle to dominate this long" problem that so many people complain about in her matches |

the same way the majority of Asuka title matches have been booked. Despite her aura very few matches of Asuka's matches have been straight up squashes. Yep. Asuka doesn't do squashes really. She is dominant in her winning record but doesn't just straight up kill people in minutes. |

I personally think alexa loses the belt to paige in the elimination chamber and asuka wins the rumble to face paige at mania so the match doesn't happen unless bliss gets a rematch afterwards for not getting one before mania.
but if they do put asuka vs alexa I think alexa comes in for the first match cocky, realizes she's outclassed after the first couple minutes, intentionally gets herself DQed (via Nia interference/keeps a hold on past the five count/just straight punches the ref in the face) to hold onto the title. angle doesn't like this and makes them fight again no DQ- asuka survives the Nia factor by saying "hey look there's Enzo!" causing Nia to leave, alexa uses her friendly neighborhood kendo stick to stay in it but eventually asuka wins by "breaking" alexa's arm (with alexa showing off her double jointedness to sell the injury) with the asuka lock. letting alexa have a vacation for a bit to bring on the next feud (paige or sasha) for asuka. alexa later comes back as a face.

Rousey comes in and makes them both tap to dual armbars while the announcers put it off like some epic moment that's historic, that people actually want and then Rousey unifies both titles for the next couple years. Really never loses the title either before leaving wwe for something else like a movie or reality show.

Asuka wins the womens title in record time at Wrestlemania That's the best possible outcome in my opinion. Alexa is a cowardly heel and Asuka is an undefeated monster. Having a back and forth match would be awful. Plus, Wrestlemania needs to have one or two short matches so having Asuka win in seconds give her a big moment and leaves plenty of time for the rest of the matches We don't need Alexa's own aura as a blossoming star needlessly destroyed.. |

To answer the original question: Asuka needs to kill her first time out, so I think this was too soon to do it, honestly. I'd put her over in the Rumble to build against Alexa at Mania.
