I just got this game for XMas for the PS4 and I have to say that it is WAY BETTER than some of the past games. I like the fact that after 18 years we can finally play a 4x4 Survivor Series match on a new game as well as you can throw your opponent off of something huge (the production truck). Sadly, you can't do that for HIAC matches. I also like the fact that the backstage mode has improved. What are your opinions?

The game for me at least plays a lot better since they patched it. A lot of the super low reviews were at launch when the game was nearly unplayable due to bugs and glitches.

The less said about the Switch version the better. I’m still waiting for that thing to be patched to playability beyond one on one matches. Even those are sluggish. I’ve been happy with the PS4 version though. I love playing it with the kiddo.

they still haven't made a good career/story mode yet.

From the WWE games thread: MyCareer mode is such a f***ing disaster so far that it's honestly kind of mind blowing. Jey Uso tells me Luke Harper is talking shit about me and that next week I should call him out for it. Then I do a promo, call out Kevin Owens, and afterward Rich Swann tells me that I haven't shut Cedric Alexander yet. Next week, callout promo where Jason Jordan comes back for a second??? round, calling me Mr. Money in the Bank (haven't even hit that show in the mode yet). Then Swann tells me I really punked out Gran Metalik. And that's objective clear, I successfully completed the side quest. I can't even imagine how they could have f***ed things up that hard but it's absolutely stunning. Barely touched the game since this happened. Other, more functional-out-of-the-box games came out that I moved on to instead.

I tend to go long periods between new WWE games. I have 16 (got tired of waiting for 17 on PC) and before that I think I had 07 or 08. That said I would love to relive the THQ N64 games updated for today. Back then I was playing every wrestling game that came out on the snes, genesis, ps, n64 and handsdown, the THQ ones were the best.

I hadn't played a wrestling game in a very long time, but I bought this from the Playstation Store for $36.99 and I've honestly been having fun with it. My only real complaint is I keep resetting my Universe because I've yet to get it just right (and the promos are ridiculous), but I feel like it was worth buying when it was on sale. The stuff you can do with CAWs alone blows my mind.
I love using guys like Vader (probably my favorite guy to use) and Brock and just wrecking dudes.
