I think WWE's policy leaves a wide berth for people to be their characters on twitter if that's their thing, and there's no easy way to sort out "being a dick to the fans because it's your character" like Owens from "being a dick to the fans because you're a miserable shithead". But WWE isn't too sloppy to have literally nothing, because they're too big a company to risk scandal. There's rules, they're not strict, but they usually do their job. TNA on social media gives me more of a "backstage WCW" kind of vibe where nobody is trying to keep people in line and so some people just go wild.

Like, I wasn’t justifying JB’s tweets, everyone has a bad day so I’m not as judgemental since he’s not as bad an offender as Matthews or a few others. It’s not a great look but again, if I judged everyone who was a dick once on Twitter, I’d only be following meme and cute animal pictures. Which is fine but hey.

Bizarre combination of humility and incredible sucking up and spin here. Impressive really.

Yeah, I know WWE would probably be tripping over themselves to hire Jeremy "I hope your whole family dies!" Borash. Really knows how to handle himself on social media. When he said that?

Nordholm: “Impact is going to go out of business. I guess there’s nothing left to do but kiss my sorry ass goodbye”
Borash: “uh, may I, sir?”

The thing with "I hope your whole family dies" was in response to what?

The thing with "I hope your whole family dies" was in response to what? It's in the video. Borash was plugging a U.K. Impact taping and the fan said they should put fans out of their misery and just take Impact off the air.

Once you put your heart and life into something and someone who has nothing better to do in life comes and tries to burry you there are two stages of reaction
1. Noob: you go nuclear cause you are still investing and it hasn't paid off yet
2. Zen: you just skip it like it never happened cause you are now bearing the fruits of your work. Or you came to conclusion there will be no pay day but you still love doing what you are doing.
I think Borash went with number 1 that time so I felt sorry for him. I do not feel sorry for the instigator at all.

I don't care what level of emotional investment he had in something, he's a professional and an ambassador for a brand at the time claiming to be number 2 in sports entertainment. Act like one. There were a million pithy replies he could have given, or just clicked block, but he acted like a tool. Brash doesn't deserve sympathy here. He'd been in the business YEARS at this stage.

Telling someone to f*** off and wishing death upon their family are two different things Borash made a choice to do one and not the other so therefore he's an asshole

Thread title is misleading. Nothing is "confirmed". It's more like Borash *claims* the Hardys wanted him to join along. And if he was the brains behind the Broken Universe, wouldn't TNGFImpact have a stronger claim to that trademark?
It all screams of someone trying to overinflate their relevance with a dash of coattail riding.

Hardys have long since said that Borash was a big influence with the Broken Universe with the Vanguard 1 and all other shit However, just because he had a creative influence doesn't mean TNA/Impact had a stronger claim to the license Matt created it, TNA aired it but they didn't put in a trademark for it Everybody knows Borash had a hand in it so there's really nothing to brag about because it's not like they can use it

He could have blocked him of course and he should have. That was the only reasonable thing to do. And there is nothing sarcastic about putting TNA fans out of their misery, it's a jargon for wishing someone to be dead. In this case either product or fans. Don't feel sorry for the guy at all.
