Biggest issue in the NFL outside of the players brains turning into oatmeal in their 40's ?
The fact there's hardly ever any exciting plays any more. There's a big play and there's a flag coming out more than half the time.

With the NFL's horrific micromanaging rules that's probabaly not a TD

With the NFL's horrific micromanaging rules that's probabaly not a TD The competition committee needs to revamp heavily this offseason.

Falcons at Eagles huh?
Not gonna lie this is probably the team I'm most comfortable facing right now...

Eagles get the lowest seed available right? That's now Atlanta.

If its the NFC Championship, Vikings are sure glad they won't have Blair Walsh at clutch time.

Both teams have IU alumni with the 2015 that gave me plenty of hope.
And Tevin Coleman likely will be seeing his old QB Nate Sudfeld on the field next week.

The Falcons beating the Rams doesn't especially shock me. The Rams always struck me as the proverbial "One Year Away" type team and an experienced NFC champion type team should beat them. I never, ever like it when someone tanks that last game by resting guys the way they did vs. the Niners last week. Add to it ATL was hungry and needed to win last week to get in and you have a veteran, zoned in team vs. guys who dicked around last week and rested. That's a bad combo for the Rams. Who knows how big their window is though? SF is coming next year with Jimmy G.

Everyone wants to talk about the Rams resting guys, but.....
remember, if the Buccaneers don't get that game winning TD in the final seconds a week ago, the Rams are playing Carolina instead.

The Rams were a joy to watch.
The Falcons for most of this season were joyless and hard to watch.
Of course that happened.
As much as I don't like this Atlanta team and the Falcons have been criticized and mostly ripped about this season...... playoff experience cannot be discounted.
So go figure- the Titans and Falcons, whom have been both criticized all year and rarely praised, both win road playoff games.

How do you lose track of JULIO JONES there? As a fan of a team who has to face him every year twice, I can tell you that Julio Jones is one slippery individual and even if you have double coverage or your best guy on him, it takes some luck whether he catches the ball. He's that damn good of a receiver. He's the reason two years ago we went 15-1 instead of 16-0 in the regular season and even the dancing fool of an owner knows that.

And now Atlanta gets a favorable matchup next week against a Philly team whom everyone has bailed on.....
seriously, if we get a freaking SB rematch after all the NFC parity talk and with the usual heavy hitteres at home, this truly is the dumbest NFL season ever.

If Foles can't get it together Doug won't have a choice. Foles will have a quarter at most, if he doesn't lead a TD Drive and Atlanta jumps ahead his leash is gone.

Excuse you, I haven't bailed on The Eagles. Their Defense is still stalwart and now we got Jones in the backfield. If the QB is competent, we can handle Atlanta.

Who knows how big their window is though? SF is coming next year with Jimmy G. Pump the brakes on Jimmy G for a bit. The 49ers are a dozen flaws away from being competitive. And as good as Jimmy G looked (and I think he'll eventually be a top 5 QB in the NFL) he threw 7 TDs and 5 INTs this year. If you put his numbers into a full season he's got about 24 TDs and 15 INTs, he needs a lot more weapons around him. His QB rating puts him around what Tyrod Taylor did this past season.
He hasn't lost a game in 5 years and something needs to be said for having a winning persona, but it's not like the guy went out in 5 games threw 20 TDs and 0 INTs and just embarrassed other teams.

Damn shame what happened to the Chiefs.
Their fans deserve better.
Meanwhile.... I'm sorry, but there is nothing to like about Tennessee.
