Sorry for the double post, but I just had an idea.
They announce that the match will still take place, with Gulak wrestling as Enzo’s proxy. Gulak cheats the win, and celebrates as if he actually won the title.
So takes a few weeks off, with Gulak walking around with the belt, acting like he’s champion. Calling himself “YOUR CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION onbehalfofenzoamore” until Enzo comes back and asks for his title back, Gulak is hesitant to give up the title he “won” which creates the dissension between them that ultimately turns Gulak face.

The rumour around Braun is it's the 'flu - the one that's currently causing trouble in most of the country. Perfectly reasonable for 'zo to have gotten it as well.

Serious question - given the amount of travel and work and exposure the talent has, has WWE mandated flu shots as part of Wellness? Granted, it’s very much voluntary even in the public sphere, but one would think cases like this would make it a good idea. |

I would think that, after the viral meningitis/mumps/genderflipitis/pumpkinheadosis scare this fall, WWE has been cracking down on making sure that immunizations are up to date, including the 'flu shot. That said, this year's shot (at least where I live) was warned as not being entirely effective against the version of the 'flu said to be going around. IANAD, but it might be good protocol this winter to make the talent scrub up as soon as possible after any in-ring work or physical encounter done for TV. A few pump bottles of Purell at Gorilla position for use before going out or on coming back wouldn't hurt either. In the end, though, it boils down to how far WWE wants to go to ensure a healthy talent pool and a smooth operation without interfering with individual leeway. Don't forget: the wrestlers are "independent contractors." |

Some of the places they go, you can’t go without your immunizations. Plus you can still get the flu with a flu shot, if you get a strain that wasn’t in the shot, you’ll be sick. |

Nia will make him feel all better. Nia has hooked up with ENZO?!? OK, now I officially hate the guy. Nia is MY future ex-wife, sir! On the other topic, as someone who MUST get a flu shot every year (diabetes sucks), I know there is always a chance of another flu strain kicking my butt, but no sense in not being careful. Hopefully the talent and the staff are being careful too. |
