I remember reading the Reks account. Cena basically told Rex not to use the move. Rex did anyway and got heat as a result. That's not new to WWE or even wrestling. A vet asks you to leave a move alone, you change it up.

Ever notice how most of the guys who bitch about Cena are pretty much garbage at being a pro wrestler? Tarver, Reks, Riley, Kenny. Maybe Cena thinks you suck because you do in fact suck. At the same time, nobody inside the WWE machine who has dirt on Cena is gonna dare speak out about it for fear of WWE killing their career in response to their saintly face of PR being dragged through the mud. Even if Cena's held back the careers of other people stuck beneath the glass ceiling, they can't very well say this for as long as they still have any hope of breaking through in WWE. Tarver, Reks, Dykstra, they know they're never coming back so they've got nothing to lose. Nobody is perfect and nobody gets to the level Cena's at without treading on a few others along the way, intentionally or unintentionally. And let's not forget multiple claims that he cheated on his ex-wife prior to their divorce. I don't care if you're away on the road for a long time, that's still not cool. I'm not gonna take unsubstantiated claims like Dykstra's at face value, no. And stuff like Tarver's sounds ridiculous. But this idea that WWE puts out that John Cena has never put a foot wrong in his life is just not possible. Edge & Jericho corroborate each others' story on the Nexus and frankly I doubt that's the only time he's gone into business for himself.

In his efforts to work hard and prove himself, Prinze found the most resistance from John Cena. The guy that preaches “respect” gave none to Prinze, purposefully calling him Ashton Kutcher for months, before finally allowing him he dignity of a begrudging acknowledgement. It’s not enough to be on several sucessful television shows and movies, Cena still felt the need to make Prinze earn his respect. During the feud that Nexus had with Cena, there was a moment when Cena and Harris were in the same ring and apparently Harris poked Cena in the eye, fulfilling all of our hopes and dreams in the process. The word is that he wasn’t apologetic enough to Cena about the incident backstage, so Cena used his most prolific superpower, which is burying other talent, and had him kicked back down to NXT. In Ryback’s case his momentum was stopped so abruptly by Cena that he would soon find himself working the dreaded pre-shows at the pay-per-views. Ryback often recalls Cena incidents on his podcast, one of which was when Ryback finally managed to top Cena is merchandise sales. Cena allegedly told Ryback to enjoy it while it lasted, because it would be short-lived. Although he was smug as always, Cena sadly wasn’t wrong. Dude could have put the company's top guy out for an extended period if the eye poke had been serious. That's (cue Hunter jpeg) carelessness, and if you can't be in the ring without potentially injuring the company man, then yeah, a spell in developmental is what's needed. He's come back and since worked with Cena, so it's not like it was a burial. Also "fulfilling all of our hopes and dreams"? I hope you're joking man.

Cena also didn't want to work with Kennedy for him being seen as unsafe (and he did injure Cena once) and had some heat with Riley. Cena wasn't the only one who didn't want to work with Kennedy. It was reported that Cena, Orton, HBK, and Trips were the big names that complained about Kennedy being unsafe in the ring. These are guys that had been in the ring with stiff guys like Brock, Goldberg, Hardcore Holly, Regal, and Finlay, and they had no problem with them, but Kennedy was bad enough they considered him unsafe. It was a lot of people that did not want to get in the ring with Kennedy.

In Ryback’s case his momentum was stopped so abruptly by Cena that he would soon find himself working the dreaded pre-shows at the pay-per-views. Cena allegedly told Ryback to enjoy it while it lasted, because it would be short-lived. Although he was smug as always, Cena sadly wasn’t wrong. Oh yeah? Ryback himself says he was the top merch seller at one point? The same guy that claims he came up with just about everything in The Shield? And Ryback was working pre shows after working with Cena. That’s some delay on burials because they feuded in 2013 and that didn’t happen until 2016.

he had a part in Ken Kennedy's burial but considering the guy injured him and had repeatedly put his foot in his mouth I can't exactly blame Cena.

Yeah, what ultimately got him fired was dropping Orton on his shoulder like right after Orton got back from another injury to it.

Should have taken that $100,000,000 contract he walked away from.

A vet asks you to leave a move alone, you change it up. Reks was doing the burning hammer. A move that looks so crazy that it inherently makes all other WWE finishers look weaker and is dropping someone directly on their head, of course Cena is going to say 'look we have massive schedules so you should use a move that is more toned down and safer'

Freddie Prinze Jr has spoken about how Cena was standoffish and a dick to him when he first came in. But then apparently gave him props when he wrote something Cena liked.

It would be rich to see if Cena were to work on a project that Prinze was working on in the future, even as a producer. Remember what Mick Foley said about "climbing up the ladder"...

Unless they have an open relationship, cheating is still cheating. I don't care if it's a wrestler I'm a fan of still not cool. Also given the stories that came out at the time of the divorce, it didn't sound like a situation she was okay with.

I'm willing to say it's a safe bet any of his politicking etc is on a much smaller scale than previous people in his position.
