Was kinda hoping "Walk on Water" by Eminem ft. Beyonce would get a mention. Seriously, that garbage sounds like a long-lost demo that accidentally found its way onto a studio album.
In other Beyonce news, that Todd once put "Single Ladies" on a list like this hurts me deeply.

It really should've gotten a mention, even if only a dishonorable mention, though I would've gladly knocked "Believer" into honorable mentions to rank this one. FWIW, Charlamagne tha God and Joe Budden hit Eminem and Beyonce hard over that song. Well, Charlemagne did, with jewels like "it sounds like you're driving in the car, and you got your windshield wipers going, and it's not even f***ing raining" and "it sounds like how you think "Cold in the D" would sound".

The two most baffling success stories of the year to me are Shape Of You and Despacito. Not necessarily in that they were successful, but HOW successful they were. Though, in Despacito's case it may because it wasn't totally drab and boring unlike most popular music seems to be the last couple of years.

Pretty sure that was the main thing that Todd liked about Despacito, it wasn't completely boring.

Watched both parts with my lady and some friends last night. I knew who one band was. And learned Ed Sheeran looks like Ralph Mouth's son.

I have to listen to a lot of that shit at my one job, as the one manager prefers the local Top 40 station be on at all times. There will be a decent song on here and there, but for the most part....

That song is like a razor wire covered ice pick being slowly driven into one's brain through their nasal cavity. It's been a few years since that song came out, and I still cringe every time it comes on the radio. So annoying.
