I highly doubt it unless they start treating their hires from New Japan better. I believe he's said something to the effect that nobody from New Japan does anything when they go there, implying he's not really interested himself unless he thinks he'd get something out of it. When he's at the height of his career making all of the money already, WWE doesn't have much to offer him right now.

If he never gets a run with the IWGP title over the next 4-5 years, then maaaaybe he'll do an AJ run when he's 38 or 39. But he almost certainly will get a run with the title, and his constant talk of wanting to change the business...I'm not sure he'll ever make the jump. He might if WWE offer him silly money and certin guarantees (including the Bucks), but I'm really not sure. Which is a shame, because Omega/Styles, or a main event Omega/Cesaro, would be the most incredible shit ever.

I feel like it'd be a late-career, 'just want to be at Mania once' type deal like Ultimo Dragon, especially given his disappointment in Nak's run.

not that anybody knows but seems people on Youtube are thinking it might be soon cause of recent stuff like this: they seem to think it will lead to Cody taking him 'out" like they did when Finn and AJ left For me this Bullet Club angle leads me to believe he's got at least a few additional years left in NJPW. I can see The Elite branching off into a WolfPac of sorts and the Kenny/Cody feud takes place. This will cement a face turn and an entirely new run in NJPW for him. There's still unfinished business with Ibushi where I'm sure a babyface VS babyface match will be big business. And I think there are multiple title runs from him down the line especially with him being 1-1-1 against Okada. I dont really get a chance to follow alot of NJPW or ROH but on their Youtube show "Being the Elite" for a while it only had Kenny and Young Bucks in the intro which lead me to believe that "The Elite" was just them but they recently changed it and added Cody, Marty, and Hangman in the intro. And even did a bit where they got ELITE jumpsuits and they each had one. So I thought "The Elite" was now all of them but is it still just Kenny and Bucks?

Secondly, they only wrote Devitt and AJ out the way they did because they knew they had top gaijin talent replacements to step in for each of them: Devitt left, and that very same show Styles debuted and attacked Okada/joined Bullet Club, and when AJ got kicked out Kenny immediately took over as leader. A lot of people keep saying "will Cody take over Bullet Club?", but unless NJPW is interested in bringing Cody in on a full time basis, or if he's willing tour Japan on a full-time basis, then that absolutely won't be happening. The stable heads in NJPW are guys they know they can count on being on the tours the vast majority of the time, and Cody's too committed to ROH right now for that.

Kenny Omega is a great talent, and could be a huge deal in WWE, and Vince would absolutely love to make him a mid-card comedy jobber for a year before quietly releasing him because creative has nothing for him.

Didn't Omega sign a 2-year deal last January?

No. I think he'll stay in NJPW long enough that the window will close.
Which he should do, I want NJPW's US expansion to make them a viable alternative to WWE for talent.

I do hope you washed your hands after removing that from whatever orifice you got it from. Looking at the current guys from New Japan on the roster, I don’t know how anyone could say that with any seriousness. Finn Balor won the inaugural Universal Championship a mere weeks after joining the main roster in a very high profile match at SummerSlam. AJ Styles is a two time and current WWE Champion and has always been treated like a big deal from the moment his music first hit. The Club are former RAW Tag Team Champions, and went into WrestleMania last year as the champions. Shinsuke Nakamura has been involved in several PPV main events, including a high profile match for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, and like AJ Styles, has always been made to look like a huge deal. I have no doubt at all that Kenny Omega would be treated no differently than any of them.

But Nakamura is only treated like a big deal when they wanted to try to legitimize the jobber they gave their top belt to, and Finn is never treated as anything important unless he's wearing his Halloween costume. The Club....well, being a tag team champion in WWE is so much less than meaningless that I honestly wasn't even aware they'd held the belts.

With the way New Japan is growing, why bother? The dude is the number 1 American talent in a company that's just starting to hit huge in the States.
