I'm not sure how many countries would be represented, but we can start with the two easiest: Canada and the United States.
So who are you sending to represent these two countries?

Is it still set up or is it wrestlers shooting on each other? If it were to be an Olympic sport, I'd be more willing to bet it'd be like the Summer Olympics' answer to ice dancing or figure skating, where instead of an actual shootfight or "real sport", it would be seen as a team of competitors (either two-man, four-man, or women) who would be trying to put on the most skilled pro wrestling match together. So, that would likely also change who is picked where.

Shelton was a damn good amateur. And Brock too.
Canada can be represented by Breeze and Natalya.

I mean... Japan would have to be in the mix too, right?

So, that would likely also change who is picked where. That would probably mean you would have to pick a "team" - like it would be AJ Styles vs Cena (US) in an exhibition that would get judged. Then like Jinder vs Sami (Canada) in a bout that would get judged. Since, naturally you can't have two people actually compete against each other in what is essential a performance since they could sabotage one another.

If the guy from Canada and the guy from Mexico put on a great match, who would get the score? There's no way a setup where competing teams would be in the same match and have something that works, so I think this is what you're getting it, right?

Canada : Santino. The Judo background seems like a pretty big asset.

Going with the "judged artistic performance" angle. Canada has to be represented by Zayn & Owens. Who else has that experience and chemistry together? They'd be favorites for Gold. UK with ZSJ and Will Ospreay? The US would actually have trouble sending a great duo. If he would be cleared to wrestle, I would go with Daniel Bryan & Samoa Joe. AJ Styles & Joe could work too. Japan COULD send Shibata and Ishii, but Shibata would die. Any pick out of Naito, Okada & Tanahashi. Would Nakamura & Tanahashi still be magic or has that ship sailed? Mexico... I don't know. Mascara Dorada & Ireland has Sheamus & Finn Balor Tonga has Tama Tonga & Bad Luck Fale. Although you might want to send Leo Tonga instead of Fale since Tama and Leo are biological brothers. Adopted brother Tanga Roa is from Hawaii. On the women's side it gets even tougher. US: Charlotte & Sasha Banks. And pray they have a good night come game time and Sasha doesn't brain herself trying to win the Olympics. Canada: Not Nattie. She's in her bubble and barely ever wrestled another Canadian. LuFisto & Vanessa Kraven or Taya & Jennifer Blake. Japan: Kairi Sane and her top domesic rival. Preferably somebody that can bully her. Mexico: I'll go with experience: Ayako Hamada and Princesa Sugey Australia would be better off with girls than with the guys: Emma & Demi Bennett. Or The Iconic Duo. but I think Emma & Demi could be a better match. Also another match to ponder: Emma & Billie Kay, they've have known each other a long time.

Would Brock represent the US or his new home, Canada. Nevermind, he couldn't pass the drug test

Would any of the Samoan wrestlers actually qualify for Samoa through a grandparent or something? If so they could be a dark horse.
Germany could have Alex Dieter Jr and WALTER

There's no way a setup where competing teams would be in the same match and have something that works, so I think this is what you're getting it, right? Like was said in a few other posts expanding on my theory to be ice dancing or figure skating: You wouldn't be picking a team of Canada and a guy from Mexico. Rather, you'd be picking wrestlers for the "two man", "four man", or "two women" levels for it...so as Parent said, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would be a Canadian team for the two-man competition. Then, the event would be "Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens" as the pro wrestling match. That match then gets judged on an artistic scale and put against matches with people from other countries.
