I'm down with this as long as they actually bring back the original VAs.

What, no Freakazoid, Road Rovers or Histaria? Road Rovers was a criminally overlooked show.

Animaniacs still has something to offer, so I'm good with this. There's going to be over 2 decades of stuff for them to satire since last on the air.

Being honest I'm way more excited for Tiny Toons.

I loved Animaniacs when I was a kid,but it's hard to imagine if they can get back any of the original writers they will be anywhere close to good as they were a quarter century ago.

If it lives up to the original I'll be pleasantly surprised, but that seems unlikely so it might be better to just....not.

The article didn’t mention if the original VAs were reprising their roles. I hope they do, because I won’t bother if they pass. Brainstorming, script writing, and animating takes a long time with most cartoons.

I am...cautiously optimistic. The fact that they're giving it such a big lead time means that they're likely making an actual go of this, not rushing it out for cheap nostalgia views like the PPG reboot. I'll root for it to be great until it's shit.

I'll root for it to be great until it's shit. Plus it's Hulu, so you'd think it would stay sophisticated enough. The mention of the PPG reboot makes me hope for "bite the hand that feeds you" humor about Teen Titans Go...

one thing I hope doesn't happen: I don't want the writers to lean too hard into any "all modern cartoons are bad" stuff when they're writing Slappy Squirrel. They can do something wittier with her than that.
