Kinda wish a season was more than 10 episodes long

Yeah. Somehow I'm not surprised. I still love "Rick and Morty" but I'm over this waiting game shit. They can take as long as they f***ing want or not even do a season 4 for all I care.

Yea, I think even tho they keep improving on their work and getting better but waiting 2 years or more for 10 episodes is sort of a killer

Part of the issue is how expensive it is to make an episode versus the dozens of cheapo projects that Adult Swim burps out that incorporate the same frat boy/7th grader "humor" that are often done on a shoestring budget.
I think another aspect might be the McDonald's fiasco and they might want to wait until people forget about that unpleasantness.

I think the first 6-7 episodes were strong with the Evil Morty return sort of being the end of the season The last 3 episodes which were I think Mortys Mindblowers, Beth and her fun world shit with Rick, and Rick vs the President was weak and probably should have been shown at the beginning of the season instead of the end

The two episodes that completely soured me on the show were Pickle Rick & Froopyland (the Mad Max parody was a close third). The former because it was a dumb joke that's padded out to 23 minutes with obligatory mass bloodshed & a tacked on "Why Rick Sucks" speech from a character we will never see again, and the latter for essentially being a terrible fan fiction of the series. I know Back to the Citadel was a decent episode, but I think the Evil Morty aspect is just background noise in the show. Also, they have done a horrible job developing most of the cast.

Eh as I am also fan of that other crude yet smarty written show on Adult Swim (IE The Venture Bros) I'm already used to the loooong hiatuses between seasons deal.

I finally got around to watching this recently. Knocked out all three seasons and enjoyed them all. They’re short and an easy watch. I’ll gladly wait for a season 4 after watching that much. I feel bad for any of you that have waited between seasons since the beginning. That must be rough for the hardcore fans.

This is the issue with several of their shows. They kiboshed the last season of Metalocalypse due to it, then rubbed salt in the wound by continuing to air reruns and not letting Brendon Small take it to another network. Just be happy it's coming back, folks. It could be so much worse.

Unless season 4 is way better than 3, they should probably stop.

For a non-fan, this is fantastic news. Maybe now we can be left in peace without being attacked everytime we say that we don't watch the show.
It's like "Rick and Morty" is the Bizarro Fight Club...
"Rule number one of 'Rick and Morty' is YOU MUST TALK ABOUT 'RICK AND MORTY'."

I love all three seasons, but you could see cracks showing in the foundation in season 3. Way too much reliance on destroying over the top set-pieces with elaborate cartoony violence to make up for weak plots and characters.
