I don’t usually like writing ignorant posts but considering that I have an Amazon Prime account, I have to ask...
...the f*** was Anime Strike?

I didn't even know they had an Anime service I mean, that kind of explains how we got here. Especially since I at least know about a couple of places outside Crunchyroll and Funimation TV because they’re exclusives for other stuff.

And you got VRV which allows you to get like 6 other channels along with Crunchyroll and Funimation for $10 a month

I don’t usually like writing ignorant posts but considering that I have an Amazon Prime account, I have to ask... ...the f*** was Anime Strike? Anime Strike was Amazon’s US-exclusive anime service. American Prime members had to pay an additional $5 a month to watch the exclusive anime they put on the service, which included several of 2017’s most acclaimed anime series, such as Scum’s Wish, Re:Creators, Princess Principal, Girls’ Last Tour, Made in Abyss, and Land of the Lustrous, those last two being among the recurring picks for anime of the year. For all of these shows, plus several others, it was the only legal way to watch them, which made things hell for American anime fans who don’t pirate anime. Needless to say, this news has been warmly welcomed by American anime fans.

Exclusive contracts for certain anime are bad for business. No one service is goona have all the anime you want to see. So people will pirate anything outside of what they already pay for.
