I actually liked the 40 person Rumble and would enjoy seeing another one. I even thought the original match had some fun booking moments What with the Corre/New Nexus battle and Santino popping out at the end. Shame Alberto won though.
Anyway, your thoughts?

Depends on the circumstances. I think they could work, but the 2011 rumble is perhaps not the best defence.

It's absolutely possible with the roster depth they have. Add in a few legends and NXT guys and it'd work fine.
Trouble is with how recent Rumbles have been booked it'd just be prolonging the agony rather than giving people chances.

No thanks, I prefer it at 30 entries.

Yes. I thought they would have by now just so they could erase ADR as being "the only one" to have won a 40 man Rumble

Yes. Because more legends can take the 10 spots while current stars dont lose any of the 30 spots. Everyone needs a pay per view payday.

I'm still annoyed that Del Rio won it past a position of #30.
If it was going to be a one off or unclear of if it'd be a recurring thing, why not have him be entrant #29 or #30? It doesn't change the result.

I see no reason why not. I enjoyed the 2011 Rumble match overall.

With how big their roster is now, yes. They're getting to where they might need to bring back World War 3 and have 60 men.

Bash at the Beach should be where Daniel Bryan turns heel and we find out whose side is he on.

The amount of people isn't the problem, knowing who is going to win months or even a year ahead is the issue here.

The 40 man rumble was so weird. It felt like two rumbles smooshed together, one of which was enjoyable and one of which... was not.

Trouble is with how recent Rumbles have been booked it'd just be prolonging the agony rather than giving people chances. The 30 man format works just fine. At the end of the day there are only ever a handful of potential winners, maybe 5 max, so why fill it out any more?

No
They just need a well booked 30 man Rumble.

I would. f*** it, why not? I’d watch a hundred-person Rumble.

In the hands of people who actually know how to book and long-term plan, yes. In WWE, no.

The 40 man rumble was so weird. It felt like two rumbles smooshed together, one of which was enjoyable and one of which... was not. This was exactly the problem with the last one. They had a bunch of different stories going on, which was great, but instead of threads running through the whole thing, it was episodic.

I was at the 2011 Rumble. Biggest issue I had with it was how it was front loaded with Nexus and that they dominated it for far too long.
