Huh, that's me wrong then.
It makes it interesting if it's part of a longer term plan for the division or if they're allowing bookers more leniency on who gets a title shot because there's no real long term plan right now.

I don't know if he physically carried the belt with him last night in his match against Ospreay, but to all extent and purpose that match was billed as 'WWE UK Champion v IWGP Jnr Heavyweight Champion'. 99% sure Ospreay's promo at the end was just mark trolling though. Interesting times we live in.

Interesting times we live in. It is but I'd have thought considering their history with this stuff, that might not be something WWE would want to promote for someone who isn't signed with WWE unlike in the past. Like, from my personal view, and this isn't backed up by much, it feels like WWE's being more flexible because they need to be chummy with PROGRESS, ICW etc than these companies need WWE because, well, their audience is growing and companies are getting bigger and had been before even World of Sport put an intention out there. ICW was still selling out the Hydro before WWE wanted to sign a deal with them, for example. So it really comes off like this is a seat of the pants thing and it feels weird because WWE don't usually do stuff that way. Heck, you watch the shows and it feels like everything is manufactured to the T (Maybe it's a HHH thing considering stuff with Ibushi at the CWC and whatnot).

Looking ahead to the first events of February, here's the card for Kamikaze Pro: Underground IV card. It will become part of the graphics on page 1 after this weekends events. "Hey do we have a worse photo of Keith Lee to put next to these ones of Zack and Pete we took straight from the WWE?"

So Discovery Wrestling announced Bram was on today's show was too late for anyone who would want to boycott the show for hiring a spousal abuser.

Jinny suffered a broken hand and a concussion at York Hall on Saturday night, so she is out of her challenge of Toni Storm for the PROGRESS Women's Title this weekend, and likely for a while, so her Chris Brookes match at Riptide will probably be off too.
Added to PROGRESS on Sunday is Doug Williams vs. Morgan Webster, but this is apparently dependent on a meeting Webster will have with PROGRESS management this week.
