Shit, it's the proper Safety Car for this... I think they actually re-line up on the grid for a restart now, right? EDIT: No they don't. Too many changes to keep track of... Full safety car is always "everyone gets to join the queue with no overtaking, lapped cars are allowed to unlap themselves and join the back of the line" VSC is "follow the racing line at reduced speed until we have this sorted" Vettel just used a loophole in the VSC rules to jump up on Hamilton.

Also played right into Ricciardo's hands too... He's right on the back of Raikkonen and in contention for a home podium finish.

Look at that position battle between Lastname and Lastname When you upload the template and not the finished product.

Look at that position battle between Lastname and Lastname When you upload the template and not the finished product. UK's commentator David Croft didn't even miss a beat pretty much saying the exact thing I did when that came up.

Hamilton trying to stay out of the Vettel slipstream... Overheating problems? slipstreaming around a corner is gonna burn your tyres out.

See, Lewis? That's why you wait for the engineers to tell you to push instead of deciding for yourself.

Lewis has decided to just eat the L and take the points for 2nd rather than go for his overtaking engine mode and wrecking it.

The Nascar cup race in Martinsville has been delayed to Monday due to recent snowfall. Possibly bumping the Colin Cowturd show to FS2 which is good news to those who hate Colin Cowherd

This weekend is also the first weekend of the Formula 2 season, so if you want some bonkers 90s F1 style racing I'd recommend checking that out too.

www.bbc.co.uk/sport/motorsport/43606264Here's a positive motorsport story. Billy Monger finished 3rd in the first race of the British F3 season. For those that don't know the name, here's the positive bit: About a year ago, while racing in Formula 4, he was involved in a serious accident which resulted in the loss of both legs. ..Okay, that wasn't the positive bit, but him having the determination to get back in a car (and be competitive) and race again is.

IndyCar is (finally) back to racing tonight in Phoenix. There's an all France front row with Bourdais and Pagenaud, with Bourdais looking to keep rolling after his win in the opener at St. Pete. Simon Pagenaud was last year's winner in Phoenix. Robert Wickens was impressive again, qualifying 6th for his first IndyCar oval race. Pietro Fittipaldi will make his oval debut starting 10th alongside Tony Kanaan.
Starting order:
Row 1: #18 Sebastien Bourdais / #22 Simon Pagenaud Row 2: #12 Will Power / #27 Alexander Rossi Row 3: #5 James Hinchcliffe / #6 Robert Wickens (R) Row 4: #1 Josef Newgarden / #28 Ryan Hunter-Reay Row 5: #14 Tony Kanaan / #19 Pietro Fittipaldi (R) Row 6: #10 Ed Jones / #15 Graham Rahal Row 7: #30 Takuma Sato / #32 Kyle Kaiser (R) Row 8: #21 Spencer Pigot / #4 Matheus Leist (R) Row 9: #9 Scott Dixon / #20 Ed Carpenter Row 10: #88 Gabby Chaves / #98 Marco Andretti Row 11: #59 Max Chilton / #23 Charlie Kimball Row 12: #26 Zach Veach (R)
Race broadcast starts at 9, green flag scheduled for 9:40. Working late today but I will hopefully be home in time to see the green flag.
