I'm less interested in who's coming in at #30 (as many people have won after drawing #1 as have after drawing #30) than in who draws #14. Isn't that the "You're fired" spot? |

I feel it's going to be Kane...... He's in the title match, can he be in both? If so, that raises my hopes of Braun winning. I know the loser of the world title match occasionally appears in the Rumble as well. Multiple times people are allowed into the rumble after being in the title match earlier. Hell Roman was in the title match last year and was the #30. Maybe Ambrose since they said there's a good chance he'll make Mania 34 anyway and the whole 9 months thing is WWE exaggerating out their ass again about injury length. Dude just had surgery, he ain't going to be cleared for the ring that quickly. Regardless if the WWE exaggerated the recovery time or not. |

Historically, it’s been a spot that’s led to early deaths or quick releases after the fact. But I’d be hard-pressed to say that Kofi Kingston (2017’s #14) has fallen foul of the bad mugambo yet. |

Part of my issue is how people want #30 to be a huge deal nowadays (and yet boo). I feel like, once in a while, you should make the drawing look completely random & give a jobber that spot just to mess with people. |

There's a bit of a mixed history with that spot that has given rise to the number being cursed. In recent years it has come to mean that the wrestler drawing it will be leaving the company, but it's also been drawn by people who are no longer with us and by those facing a depush. |
