I like him, but he didn't have the colorful personality to be main eventer in the heart of the Attitude era. Perhaps in late 97/early 98, but not in favor of Austin.

Yes. He was a bit overshadowed by better talents at the time..but he could/should of had a run at the top.

Meltzer had the best explanation why Ken didn't achieve his full potential.
He was legit the world's most dangerous man, but once he started losing he was just another normal wrestler.
Shamrock should've been booked as an unstoppable monster.

He just did a shoot with Vince Russo, he seems really laid back. The best is that he complains how the writers wanted him to have an affair with Ryan Shamrock, but he didn’t want his family to see. Russo says “ who wrote that crap”. Probably McMahon. Yes, Shamrock was amazing. He should have walked out Mania 14 as champion and then been elevated into the main event scene in 99. He never should have turned heel. The timeline of when Ryan came in... the answer was actually probably this guy. I mean McMahon would probably been for it since he was fine with Russo's other terrible shit, but Russo was the head writer.

Nah, he was best suited for mid-card. He had as good a career as he could have had in WWE.

I didn’t see this as an option... ...so I just voted no.

Could've worked iin late 1998-mid 1999 as a hired gun by McMahon to take out Austin. Would've been a lot more enjoyable than Undertaker tbh

He sorta was, or at the least, he spent a good deal of time facing off with some of those guys and being portrayed credibly, like the triple threat in the cage or Mankind giving himself the Mandible Claw to not submit to the ankle lock. I think he did fine, but I don't know if he was smooth enough or charismatic enough to go further. He was more equipped for it than Bulldog's brief main event status around the time of the "Six Pack Challenge". Both he and bulldog did have multiple title shots around that time.

He hit exactly the ceiling he should have, I'd say.
If he stuck around a little longer a short run at the top would have been okay, like Bossman, but nothing long term.
I'm trying to remember his theme music but my mind keeps turning it the guitar from Money for Nothing. I'll have to go listen to it again.
