Hey gang, so Monday night I was hit with a particularly violent bout of the flu.
About 48 hours later my fever has broke and my stomach has calmed down, but I still feel that low-energy malaise.
Shot in the dark, any suggestions for treating it?

Drink as much juice as you can, have a nice shower if you have the energy to, and relax. But not too relaxed, if you just stay melted into the couch I find it drags the fatigue out longer. Even sitting up and playing solitaire or something I find is enough to slowly drag myself out of it

Lots of fluids, lots of rest, and ibuprofen as needed. That will be $ 100. Hope it helps.

Like everyone else said, fluids. Especially fluids with electrolytes if you've gone through vomiting and diarrhea. We give electrolyte packets to our heroin addicts coming down for those reasons.

I had it two weeks ago and started taking those massive vitamin C supplement packets. It really seemed to help, and I’ve kept it up since. Hope you get better.

It just hit me this weekend, orange juice, Gatorade and Emergen-C did wonders for me. As soon as you think you're able to eat something, do it. I usually go for something pretty plain at first, like some oatmeal or cottage cheese.

I like the tangerine and super orange, but it also had raspberry in the bulk pack that I got. Raspberry was almost as bad as the flu.

I had a nasty bout last year. I found that walking a little bit outside each day helps a great deal.
As everyone else said, drink lots of fluids.
