Lars is probably not that likely, because then they have to figure out how to toss him without harming his monster cred.
Black, on the other hand, is credible enough to be given the spot, but isn't being pushed as a destroyer either.

Eric Young.
He has fewer chances ahead of him, let him have a moment.

Yeah, I think it’ll be him too, considering the presedence set by Rusev and such. Also, considering neither Braun or Kane might be in the Rumble depending on other factors with the title match, the hole needs to be filled by a destructive big man.

Everyone gangs up to throw him out, he gets mad and punches out the next entrant on his way back. Probably Curtis Axel for continuity sake.

Lars is probably not that likely, because then they have to figure out how to toss him without harming his monster cred. I mean, that’s what happened with Rusev and they did the thing where, as others mentioned, a whole bunch of people teamed up to throw him out so it’s not that impossible.

Lars, Dain, or I'd mark for Ohno if I'm honest.

I'd really like them to bring up several NXT guys this year for the one-off rumble appearance, but I think we'll just get Lars or Dain which is too bad. The match would be far more interesting with lots of new blood in it.

That’s actually a good dark horse pick. Dude’s been off of NXT TV for months, so he has no storyline threads left dangling. He could easily appear here as a main roster debut.

Kassius Ohno. He'd get a big pop from the Philly crowd, could stay in for a while and doesn't seem to be doing much else in NXT anyway. Plus they'd probably put him in with Cesaro which would get a great reaction.

Honestly, when I look at NXT's current roster, while I don't have many big favourites in there, there's also not many guys that I'd be displeased to see. Even Adam Cole I'd be okay with because he'd at least get a good pop and the crowd would be into it.
I think the one I'd be least interested in would be Roderick Strong, but literally everyone named in this thread is someone I'd be curious to see what they do with.

The way they move people up prematurely, I'm thinking Tino Sabbatelli.

Kassius was my first thought but I would love to see No Way José in this.

Kassius was my first thought but I would love to see No Way José in this. I'm good with that. He's be a solid lower-to-midcard act, schtick that easily plays well to a large crowd.

Plus, instant feud when Sheamus comes back.
