Also having a year extension gives WWE the time to find a way to lure him over and pretty much have to put up or shut up on their own interest. Especially since he’s not going to come cheap, nor should he.
Because, honestly, I can’t see him wanting to go if he sees people like Nakamura and the like being treated like they’re not that special.

As long as keeps just signing for 1yr he wont win the heavyweight title IMO...but then again they also did not pull the trigger on Naito at WK so idk.

Because, honestly, I can’t see him wanting to go if he sees people like Nakamura and the like being treated like they’re not that special. I still say Jericho was partially over there to lure him away as well Also while Nakamura is not being treated like AJ, he's far from being treated like yesterdays garbage. I think WWE had it in their mind he was winning the Rumble and therefore just let him "fade" which is a bad decision because he should be involved in hot feuds like having him and Randy go at it instead of background noise the way he is now His NXT run was something great as far as him being a spectacle and he still has that shine on the main roster to an extent but the worst thing you can say is he's "apart of the roster" |

Yea, I believe for a long time from the 90s until AJ, Shinsuke, Gallows and Anderson left they really only offered one year contracts Now that will offer multi year contracts since then but I assume that's on a case by case basis |

Kenny is one of the few guys I believe when he talks up the world outside of WWE. His commitment to New Japan seems strong, and the idea that even as in demand as he is and with the likelihood he can probably talk his way into a big contract he is so willing to keep with New Japan is going to carry him far, especially with how much value he has to the company. They know there are a lot of gaijin they bring in on a freelance basis or even slightly more permanently who see a run with them as a possible stepping stone to WWE, but Kenny left WWE and ultimately worked his way up to New Japan as his ultimate goal.

He lives out there and speaks Japanese which is a big sticking point because he's not "homesick" to a certain extent like guys get He's a part of the culture and gets everything about it so he has everything possible to be there "crossover star" in America but the question becomes will they give him that chance or will it be all Okada all day I think no matter what, Kenny isn't budging from NJPW until he wins the IWGP title so if he ever decide to make that money move to WWE, it will be after that |

Not surprising that he resigned, but NJPW has changed their contract practices to allow for multi-year deals with mutual interest. I can see Kenny wanting to keep his options open, especially with the Bucks only signed until 1/1/19.

I honestly don't think we'll ever see Kenny Omega or the Young Bucks in WWE.
If this year is even half as good for them as last year, the Bucks are just about set for a comfy retirement whenever they decide to call is a day. They broke 7 figures this year, and did or at least came close the year before. From what I understand, they have both been very wise with their money in terms of both saving and investing. They both own nice homes already. They are sitting pretty at this point, just raking in all they can while they can.
Omega can't be far behind them, either. Dude sells a shit ton of merch, and his NJPW contracts have got to be pretty lucrative, not to mention whatever he makes working elsewhere. And if I'm not mistaken, I believe he still has a home in Canada, in addition to his home in Japan.
These guys legitimately would have to take pay cuts to be in WWE. And with the way they are seeing their friends wasted there, I just don't see it being a big goal for them at any point. In fact, I see the opposite happening, with their friends like KO, Sami, Nakamura, Bryan, and others leaving when they have the chance and shooting for the same kinda deals that the Elite have.

Yes he sees what's going on with Nak but he also sees what's going on with AJ who has essentially been booked as The Guy since he came in the door Nak isn't some scrub begging for scraps but he's not getting the crazy push out the door that people complained about on Smackdown either. He will be fine and he will be champ eventually |
