GI Joe were my favourites as a child. I had dozens upon dozens of them. My favourite though was actually one of the universally regarded "worst" action figures in the line: Scoop. I loved him because as much as I loved GI Joe, Star Wars was always my number one favourite. But when I was of the age to play with action figures (six to ten years old) Star Wars wasn't very popular and the action figures weren't around (that would have been 1986-1990). So I loved Scoop because his helmet and outfit reminded me of a Rebel X-Wing pilot. Hey, I was nine years old dammit. I wish I still had an imagination like that. filmjunk.com/2009/08/09/top-10-lamest-gi-joe-action-figures/

GI Joe was a grade school must at like 5:30 always. My oldest friend was spoiled and had all the high end vehicles and shit. Playing over there was hype.
Was really dumb in the beginning though. You get maybe two hours and stage an epic battle and that takes like an hour and forty-five minutes to set up. Pew pew. Alright, there's Mom.
