I was going to say Jinder Mahal, but you said "loved AND loathed", and he's gotten mostly negative heat lately. So maybe Bliss, or Brock or Roman among the men. I don't think Roman divides this place up very much at all. You've got one Roman superfan, and nobody really else argues in his favor (at best, there may be an "he'd have been ok if they would have let him be himself from the beginning, but it's too late now" here and there). Roman or Triple H (still) would seem to be the correct answer. To be fair, though, there doesn't seem to be anything that causes much intense division on this board. I would suggest there are more Roman fans than the one "superfan," you mentioned but most of them don't feel like arguing in an environment where almost anything that attempts to directly refute someone else's opinion can be viewed as a personal attack. Oddly, I've found wrestling boards are the polar opposite of sports board in member expectation. If a person starts posting on a North Carolina message board about how bad the team sucks this year and pushing for a coaching change, that person is a troll. You come to the WWE board and praise the current product, well, you're a either a troll or a sheep with no standards.

This is a really hard question to answer OP, firstly lol
The board is cognizant of who WWE wants to push as face/heel, so the FAN perspective on a divisive Superstar will skew far left smark from what an average casual John Cena mark see's as divisive.
Most people like me will want to answer like that Cena mark-- Baron Corbin to me is the most divisive probably because I only watch SDLive weekly. He wins and fumbles the US Title, then is just as quickly eliminated in the US title tourney before claiming a victory in the Royal Rumble (a former AtGMBR winner can def do that) I don't know whether to take his booking seriously or not-- but he could be a Final Four in the Rumble I feel. The mark side of me.
My smark answer is Dolph, just hearing him do E+C podcast in this heartbreaking purgatory-like mindset of "working 200% and waiting patiently" but always ultimately sliiiiding back to midcard after any big push cuz he's a needed "good hand"
