With the handful of names listed in this video alone (especially Mark Wahlberg who was already taking heat for pay disparity for reshoots in 'All the Money in the World'), this could get just the right amount of social media coverage that could blow up fairly quick. Combine that with the fact both ESPN, CBS, and TMZ are publishing more WWE insider stories with each month, only time will tell. I'm not going to claim I know enough about this story to know how accurate it is, but the guy opens the video talking about how there's so many big people involved here that the story is being kept very quiet. If the media is keeping quiet about a story then no amount of hashtags are going to do anything. It's not even these outlets' interest in WWE that's the problem, it's whether or not they're willing to run the story at all. The idea that the media is actively working to suppress information is laughable. When someone claims “the media is keeping this quiet!”, that usually means they either just don’t think it’s interesting enough to report, or more likely the entire thing is BS.

Yeah, unless this hits the news, nothing is going to happen.

If this gains traction, Wahlberg's name will be used to sell the story, but I don't see it hurting him professionally in any real way. He wasn't a professional athlete, so no questionable stats to deal with, and he's an action movie star - it's part and parcel with the job in a way.

Maybe if we weren't mere months removed from the whole Weinstein affair and accounts of stories being squashed because of legal threats or backroom talks. But American libel law is very open, very abusable by people who have the money to scare others out of doing something, and sometimes stuff gets kept under wraps for a long time because of that.

There are more William Randolph Hursts than Edward R. Murrows in the business.

Just cos he bought them doesn't mean he used them. He was just buying them keep them out of the wrong hands. He immediately flushed them down the toilet. What a public servant!

That was a very strange and perhaps undermining way to end that interview.

I know nothing of this story so I read the thread as Ricardo Rodriguez saying it. 100 percent also read this as Ricardo. I was so confused when it said he was in prison

You know which wrestler never had problem with drugs? Almost any of the ones you pushed down in favor of Roman Reigns I'm just saying

This could hurt Roman if it's true, getting caught for Roids is a really bad light for WWE especially when they've tried to put Roman as a fixture of the company. And since he's already been busted for Wellness, it could result in some consequences, which would include his current push.
But also, if true, he brought that on himself for ever taking them.

I know nothing of this story so I read the thread as Ricardo Rodriguez saying it. That's what i thought, too. I would have figured Ricardo would have been smarter than that, and was disappointed he might have wound up in prison. Glad it's not him.

True, but he did just have a story come out about him demanding a million dollars to do the reshoots for "All The Money In The World", and basically holding the production hostage because of the Kevin Spacey developments. People are more than happy to take down scumbag celebs right now. I have a feeling Wahlberg using steroids would just be the tip of the iceberg.

I don’t like the way his push has been botched so badly, but I do like Roman, so I’m hoping for his sake this isn’t true.
