Has there ever been a feud where a wrestler feuds with the guy that taught them how to wrestle? I’m sure it’s happened but I can’t think of any off the top of my head. I guess the closest I can think of is Triple H vs. Batista & his feud with Orton. I just want to see a feud of a guy teaching someone the ropes for awhile on TV than the young talent slowly starts to become egotistical where he kayfabe injures a bunch of guys & is unstoppable than the veteran talent wants to put a stop to it & they start to feud & have a big match on a big PPV. They can even be doing the same moves in the match & countering each other a lot due to teaching him everything he knows & the psychology behind it could be awesome. But this is WWE so they’d never book it. Anyways, just a random topic that came to mind today.

Bruno vs Zbysko is the first to pop in my head.
Also, Steve Austin and Chris Adams

Bruno v Zbysko, storyline wise? Yeah, I wasn’t thinking about this one. Good thinking. I wish they would do a feud like this again though since it’s something different & rarely seems to happen.

Bryan/Regal had several matches in 2010/2011, but only one really good one (on Superstars of all places). It was never really expanded upon like it should have, though. I don't know if I'd entirely count it for that reason. Bruno/Larry Z is probably the main one.

They kinda teased it with Daniel Bryan and Shawn Michaels but he'd already retired by that point. I'm sure there's been others though.

Could you imagine Dynamite Kid vs. Benoit back in the day? Not sure if that was ever a thing in Stampede (I'm pretty sure it wasn't, but still.)

Would you count Randy Orton vs. Legacy?

Also, Steve Austin and Chris Adams I'd really enjoy a WWE Network complilation of that feud. I watched 90% of it in the Dallas USWA days. During commercial breaks Adams was advertising his wrestling school and Austin (Williams then) was in the highlights.

Didn't they tease Lance Cade and Shawn Michaels briefly during the Jericho feud of 08?

Hardly a feud, though. Kinda gave away Holly's number was coming up when he wasn't even granted a post-betrayal TV match with Cody.

Didn't they tease Lance Cade and Shawn Michaels briefly during the Jericho feud of 08? Yeah, Cade became Jericho's corner man during the feud.
