But I was feeling the strain on my wallet so I didn't get anything. Totally my bad. So cast shame on me FAN, which of these highly detailed action figures should I have bought? This King Booker figure with his trademark sunglasses and dismembered right hand?  Or this great Diesel figure?  Any other great figures like this out there? |

Those didn't leave the factory like that. Those are the result of assholes buying the actual figures, then putting random crappy stuff in the package then returning them. It's a big pain in the ass in the collecting community.
The head on King Booker isn't even from a WWE figure. It's from the recent Marvel Legends Blade figure.

LOL I've seen these a few times, I remember a Spiderman Sinister Six pack that had Spiderman, Green Goblin, Venom, another Spiderman, a Yellow Power Ranger, Kurt Angle, and Count Dooku who was sitting very loosely in the oversized plastic bubbling. The Gymini twins are also known to mascarade as numerous popular wrestlers and legends. I once saw a Paul Hey man fitted into a Jacob from Twilight package. The head on King Booker isn't even from a WWE figure. It's from the recent Marvel Legends Blade figure. I could dig King Blade. "Some peasants are always trying to joust uphill." |

I've seen this shit pulled at Wal-Mart (we only have like 3 where I live) and either the belts are missing, or the figure has been swapped out and returned. The most ambitious I saw was someone who actually put CUSTOM figures (bad ones at that) in the packaging and returned them. I'll give him credit, he went as far to paint a Jakks Rey Mysterio up like Doink and paint 3 random objects green for the wigs. Furthermore, when people pull this crap, the figures don't sell, the store doesn't re-order, and as a result, collectors like me miss out on store exclusives and wind up paying through the nose on eBay for these. |

I went to a Target recently after Christmas and looked at their toy section. It was literally an entire wall full of the same pack - Outsiders, Eddie in an LWO shirt, and Larry Zybszko. They couldn't sell any of them.
