I never got this dude at all, tbh. He was booked like an e-fed heel champ at his peak and past that was like The Miz with about 10x less ability.

I'd be shocked if WWE don't want him. He's a good looking guy, charismatic, decent enough in the ring. I'm not saying put the World title on him but there's no reason he can't be IC/US title level, or tag him with Spud again.

What a weird career.
I first became aware of him when he was Daniel Bryan's rookie in nxt. Then he was featured in that hideous nxt season that lasted forever. Unfortunately he became injury prone and got fired.
In tna I think he was supposed to be a chicken shit heel comedy jobber but ironically he got cred when Kurt Angle got injured twice while facing him so he claimed that he was responsible for running away Angle. Then Sting and Bully Ray did the favor for him once they left the company. I believe he got pushed just because everyone started to leave tna but he made the most of it.
The only thing I criticize him for was his abuse of steroids.
