He apologized and she accepted. People can make mistakes and learn from them. The entire point of a western society is learning from your mistakes. yea, but now, everyone else has to accept it-I don't agree with that, but that's how it is anymore, because everyone has a Twitter account

I think if someone's made a sincere apology and is attempting to make amends we should let them do it. if you're gonna reject someone forever because of something they're sincerely sorry about then what the hell is even the point in apologizing?

It should be our choice as to whether we want to accept it

It should be our choice as to whether we want to accept it Absolutely, if this changes your opinion of an entertainer/artist. That is ok. Never give him a dime or any effort of thought again. But he didn't do anything to you. He doesn't owe you an apology to accept, nor me. If you now dislike the man for his actions thats very ok. But, you aren't being given an apology not to accept. Conversely, those he did owe an apology to did accept it. Therefore, some may choose to allow him to learn from it and grow as a person. It's kind if what defines humans. You're not wrong to hate him now, but,no one is entitled to this apology but the person he bothered.

If you're not involved, there's nothing to accept. That's between the two parties.
You can think the guy is a douche or whatever, but his apology has nothing to do with anyone beyond who he's wronged.
