The receding hairline, the lack of mobility, the women. It were distractions to hide that he was getting old. Macho should've retired after his feud with DDP to be honest. Steve Corino in roh was sad. I still think he was kept around as a favor for Kevin Steen. It's not a good idea doing those type of matches when you're overweight and in your mid 40s. Unfortunately he got seriously injured. Ric Flair in tna, the whole run specially after fourtune. He was fine until the knee injury, up until he started bracing it up, he still showed he could go. I think the cage spot at Havoc 97 caught up to him spring of 98. It was crazy that Macho had been wrestling for over 20 years at that point. Roddy Piper in 03 as an active competitor should've never happened. Steve Keirn being repackaged as a fat guy called Skinner didn't help.

Jim Duggan as an active roster member in I think either 06 or 07 was odd, especially his tag team with Super Crazy.

I bet if Minotaur hadn't injured One Man Gang as bad as he did, that OMG would still be wrestling. Hell Brickhouse Brown is dying from cancer, stomach IIRC,and still working.

Both of T & A "The Punisher" Andrew Martin Huh, Tensai and Andrew, they swapped gimmick initials. With Test, when he showed up in WWECW as Roidy McGoo. Dude looked like an overly stuffed sausage and, although it's harsh to say, he would have died of a heart attack within a couple of years if he hadn't overdosed on painkillers. Test was such a dark presence during this time. I remember he had that blog post he made after Eddie died decrying the grind of wrestling, the toll it takes on wrestlers, and the drugs they have to take to survive, then he shows up shortly after looking like exhibit A for the entire point he was making. They never, or rarely had him talk during this run which made him come across even more distant and inhuman.

Hogan Era TNA was full of this sad shit.
Val Venus with a Gut and saying he's now a porn director attacking Jeff Jarrett in a bathroom.
The Nasty Boys... existing in 2010
"The Band" of an old Nash, Hall, and Pac
Joker Sting w/ Hostage Taking Bird
Cult Leader James Storm
However many times they tried to make Suicide/Manik a thing?
I sincerely think Bully Ray and Lashley were flukes for that company. And Broken Matt definitely wasn't their doing.

Had his run ended with the dreadlocks era Matt who knows where he be if Broken Matt never had the chance to happen. Speaking of TNA, reminds me of Aron Rex who when released by the WWE thought he will become this breakout star and well we got super bland guy (most times wore a Impact wrestling shirt) out of shape guy for several months and later gay guy that lasted a month or so.

Is it weird that I find Waltman's bald spot to be the saddest part of this whole GIF? It is, and somehow more so seeing as how Waltman would have been, like, 37 at this time.

Few years ago Minotaur, long time deep south masked vet, allegedly messed up a move and injured OMG's back. It ended up being OMG's final match.

To think if Matt never returned the second time, he would been listed. Had his run ended with the dreadlocks era Matt who knows where he be if Broken Matt never had the chance to happen. He'd probably still be in ROH doing his Big Money Matt gimmick, possibly working some NJPW shots as well. As many times as Matt f***ed up between 2009-2012, he's got a sound mind for the business and always found a way to bounce back.

Dude looked like an overly stuffed sausage and, although it's harsh to say, he would have died of a heart attack within a couple of years if he hadn't overdosed on painkillers. He was the first and only person, to my knowledge, that was let go of tna because he was to roided up. Ricky as Richard Morton looked depressing: Terry as Terrence Taylor sucked also. Whatever the f*** Jeff Jarrett did in Mexico when the whole Karen fiasco happened. Billy Graham returning to tye dyes in the late 80s was sad. Especially since Graham's hip was gone at that point. Supposedly he went back to the WWF so that Vince would pay for the surgery. Graham says it isn't true, but anything he says should be taken with a grain of salt.

He blew his other hip in match against Muraco that's how far gone Graham was.

Didn't D'Lo Brown and Grandmaster Sexay have short random returns in the mid 2000's?
