linkThis sucks. The Cranberries were one of my favorite bands growing up. I loved her voice, loved the accent. It just fit so perfectly for the band. Godspeed, m'lady.

Jeez...this sucks. Too damn young. Really sad. Brings me back to my childhood/teen years of the 90s.

No idea what happened according to the article....but some of the things I read about her past makes me worry.
So it's going to be yet another of those years, isn't it?
P.S. NO Zombie jokes please!

Sadly, that part about the Zombie lines was one of my first thoughts as well, hopefully we're better than that.

When I learned guitar Zombie was the first song I ever learned, and as someone with relatives in Northern Ireland I can't tell you how much that song means to me.

Definitely unexpected and sad loss for the music industry.

Wow, that's sudden. The Cranberries are pretty darn underrated. I can't say I followed them too close, but they had a lot of really good songs.

My favorite song from The Cranberries. I started listening to them again, just to get reacquainted with some of my favorites growing up.

Truly awful news. No Need to Argue got me through some tough times and Empty is one of my all time favourite songs. RIP Dolores.

Her voice was always so haunting and intense, especially on songs like Zombie. This is so sad. Here I was thinking maybe we'd make it one winter without a major death in the musical world. RIP

RIP Dude, the last 2 years have had a major pox on the music world. That doesn't even cover the lead singer curse here again too.
