If you have not seen this yet, I absolutely urge all of you to do so. In his retirement performance, Daniel Day-Lewis bows out with an absolutely magnetic portrayal of one of the most hilariously insufferable douche-bags I've ever seen in cinema. Chuck McGill and Dr. House would be quite proud of him. This is an incredible story of a damaged, uptight individual that looks incapable of progressing.
This film will not just get numerous Oscar nominations including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Writing, and Best Costume Design, but will certainly end up winning a combination of them, perhaps all of them.

I thought this was gonna be a thread in which we discuss the Billy Zane action spectacle "The Phantom."

It had me at Daniel Day Lewis, then really grabbed me at Paul Thomas Anderson.
I probably won't see it in the theater, but I'll definitely try to check it out once it comes to streaming.

I thought this was gonna be a thread in which we discuss the Billy Zane action spectacle "The Phantom." BIlly Zane was the o.g actor that got into ridiculously good shape to play a Superhero.
