It’s just funny how they say they’re the best tag team in the world when they’re not even the best team in WWE, not even the 2nd best. Made fans believe American Alpha could be an all-time great team. Carried Cass & Enzo to quality matches. Had the first WWE tag in 14 years to be given MOTYC ratings as high as *****. American Alpha could have been an all-time great team. But when they were put on the main roster they had no idea what to do with them... and had commentary openly mocked things like Gable's towel gimmick while not letting them talk or do promos. That said the Revival are also awesome, the WWE just gotta let them be them. Their biggest draw back so far is that they both got injured so quickly. |

I find this interesting discussion because I've not liked them from the beginning and think their gimmick is terrible, a horrible mishmash (oh we're the new Brainbusters, but we're bland and unconvincing in ring and we act like Well Dunn), but I could see why they were called up because they were getting good reactions and rave reviews, I just put it down to one of those things in wrestling, we all have them, that just wasn't for me, but would make money for the company so good stuff.
I never liked to see guys hurt, but them not being on TV was a nice change for me. And now the tide seems to be turning on them. Maybe they'll turn it around, but I'm feeling smug right now.

Put them with Gable and Benjamin as the latest incarnation of the Four Horsemen. Have Arn and Naitch give them their blessing on-screen. Some limos, suits, women, and champagne and you've got a ready-made gimmick.

As I say, no fan of Revival, and I think Benjamin sucks too, but a "We've been treated badly" stable of NXT guys, Revival and Gable, and whoever else with Enzo as mouthpiece would work for me. |

Oh my lord, just let them go out and whip ass. No gimmicks, just 2 tough as nails brawlers. Worked great in NXT. Don't change what doesn't need changes!
