I hate to break it to you, Jimmy, but you WERE in the WWE. You left. For TNA. In 2015.

Eh, by all accounts, the door seemed to be open to him when he left and considering they haven't exactly stopped hiring people recently, I wouldn't rule it out. He'd be a good guy to have on the coaching staff.

I’m sure there’s a spot for him somewhere. I mean, Curt Hawkins can’t lose every match, right?

No shit he wants to be in WWE, the only other people knocking right now are a Great Value brand Lucha Underground run by two skinheads, Konnan, and Vince Russo.

I'd prefer Toni Storm.

OHHHH, so NOW being in WWE is your ultimate goal but it wasn't before when you had the chance to be more, like say Bobby Roode is now.....uh huh well.....I'm just going to leave this here for you James Storm.....I hope you get the message.

Sheesh, so much vitriol. He didn't particularly go out cursing McMahon or Hunter's name. Why does it matter if he wants to come back?
I know it'll probably never happen with the same look and theme but I honestly wouldn't mind a Beer Money nostalgia run on the WWE stage. Let him get his last run with Roode in, then let him work with NXT or do whatever role he wants to slot in there.
I don't think anyone's saying he's gonna come in and beat everyone.

I love how much James Storm's career choices makes people get all angry and insulted.
Like it's a personal slight against them.

I know people keep saying "Cut him some slack, he did it for his family, he has HHH's blessing, blah blah blah", but man, when you see statements like this, it's hard to sit on your hands.

All the constant hatred on Storm for daring to make the decision he thought was best for his family seriously is starting to piss me off.

Like what? “I want to be in WWE now that I’m in a better place for it to work?” It’s not like he said “I’m the best this business has seen and most of the trainees in the performance centre suck compared to me”.

It would be nice if those knocking Storm for choosing his family/money over the WWE would be kind enough to post their jobs/salaries so that we could understand the type of financial genius we are dealing with.
I didn’t think so.

Right. Technically, you can also say he opened the door for "TNA originals" to be looked at while Joe kicked the door down in regards to Indie wrestlers in general getting to keep their original names as well as be seen as good hands to work with for NXT

My question would be, and this honestly is not a smartass question: What’s changed? I ask that because I’d like to know. I know nothing about Storm and his family, so I wonder whether he had young kids first time round and now feels that should the chance come again they are a bit older and it would be easier to relocate to Florida or go on the road with the main roster?

I know nothing about Storm and his family, so I wonder whether he had young kids first time round and now feels that should the chance come again they are a bit older and it would be easier to relocate to Florida or go on the road with the main roster? The factor that changed the first time was that TNA were at least staying in Florida whilst NXT was doing Full Sale and a miniature version of the WWE schedule with some international dates. With them relocating to Canada for the most part and wanting to grow long term, it probably didn't make sense for him to stay there and relocate his whole family to Florida. I guess like you said, his kids have grown up a bit so he's a bit more willing to leave them for a few times a month for the NXT shows they do outside of Full Sale.
