My question would be, and this honestly is not a smartass question: What’s changed? I ask that because I’d like to know. I know nothing about Storm and his family, so I wonder whether he had young kids first time round and now feels that should the chance come again they are a bit older and it would be easier to relocate to Florida or go on the road with the main roster? He and his wife were trying to have a kid and he couldn't commit to being on the road that much. TNA offered him a deal for more money for just working a week every two or three months so he took that deal. He said he even took the offer to Hunter and Hunter told him to take it and give him a call when he was free.

The factor that changed the first time was that TNA were at least staying in Florida whilst NXT was doing Full Sale and a miniature version of the WWE schedule with some international dates. With them relocating to Canada for the most part and wanting to grow long term, it probably didn't make sense for him to stay there and relocate his whole family to Florida. I guess like you said, his kids have grown up a bit so he's a bit more willing to leave them for a few times a month for the NXT shows they do outside of Full Sale. And going by TNA's recent exodus of talent, I am guessing they are trimming the budget and his contract was targeted so there was less of a financial reason to stick around.

Also supposedly the contract he was offered by TNA was 100K a year and they paid him that in full so money isn't as big an issue either considering he said he was paying off a house I believe as well as wanting another child

Correct and by all accounts he got paid all his money in TNA as well so he's in a better position to take a lesser deal in NXT for the short term in order to get long term gain on the main roster or even just as a trainer/wrestler in general in NXT like Eric Young

No shit he wants to be in WWE, the only other people knocking right now are a Great Value brand Lucha Underground run by two skinheads, Konnan, and Vince Russo. how dare you compare Great Value to that shitshow

I don’t think everyone is being too nasty about Storm choosing his family over his career. It’s more that they know that whilst there are exceptions, the company still has a reputation for not being too kind booking wise to those that left to work elsewhere.

Man, I still can't get over all the backstabbing and manipulative things Hunter has done in his prime to his fellow peers, but I respect the dude for all the good things and respect he has shown for the next generation of WWE Stars. Good on both of them for saying/doing the right thing.

I wouldn't mind it, having him in a role similar to the one that Eric Young is currently in.

Was being in TNA better for his family in terms of travel and being close to home? Because financially, doesn't TNA have trouble affording store brand cola let alone paying talent salaries?

If I’m not mistake he was offered 100K a year and they came thru with every dollar he was supposed to be paid So in the end for him it worked out because he got paid and was still close to home

Compared to a WWE guy, that’s not as bad for being paid $100k a year.
