You know, if the Patriots can draft a good QB or get their hands on someone like Garoppolo, that can be a good ending for Brady. Winning the Super Bowl 6 times, establishing the standards that people have come to expect from the Patriots and then handing the keys to the kingdom to the new generation could be a nice way to end things instead of sticking around for too long and take a dip on his performance. If you're going out, you might as well go on top. Unless he thinks he can threepeat or pass PIT for most SB's, what else DOES he have left to prove? Supposedly he said he still wants to play at 50 years old. So there's that.

If NE wins another SB, it would be a perfect spot for Brady to drop the mic and walkoff. Finally showed some signs towards the end of this season. He should still be good next season, but the season after... It's coming.

Two thoughts:
1. Why is everybody angry? Yes the Patriots make it every year but every Patriots Super Bowl has at least been exciting. Even before Brady you had the '85 Bears having the most entertaining blow out ever and Super Bowl XXXI was the worst of their ten and even then there was an amazing Desmond Howard return touchdown. They are the Four Horsemen of the NFL for a reason (Brady as Flair, Lewis and White as the Andersons, Gronk as Blanchard, and Belichek as Dillon).
2. People are underselling the Eagles way too much. Yeah lolBrady wins but this is a really great Eagles team and Nick Foles can be a pretty great NFL quarterback when he's confident as he showed today. Let the record show I was the first person in this thread to vote that the Eagles will win.

God forbid we have to see the same old tiresome act over and over. I have so much Brady Burnout it’s not even funny. Now we get 2 more weeks of a Patriots circlejerk from the media and Pats fans basically planning the parade like they’ve already won the Super Bowl. The scary thing is that New England was a 2 point conversion in Denver from 4 straight SB appearances. Forget the Super Bowl. God forbid we have an AFC Championship game without the most insufferable tiresome team in pro sports.

Tom Brady has a whole holistic lifestyle brand based on his longevity. $50 protein bars don't sell themselves. He's playing for as long as he can.

If Brady is Flair, are we going to see him and Peyton playing exhibition games in Australia in 20 years after both run out of money?

Go Eagles!!
Especially my man Chris Long. I want him to get his second SB ring by beating the team he got his first ring with.

Because I've hated the Patriots long enough that I'm out of the "watch hoping to see them get beat" stage and into the "don't want to see them at all" stage. They don't have Ric Flair in '86 heat with me, they have XPac in 2001 heat. As for the Eagles, you'd be hard pressed to find a team in the league that I'm more apathetic about at this point. The biggest game of the year is between a team that I never want to see again and a team that I don't care if I ever see again. If it was the main event of Wrestlemania, I'd be asking, "Who booked this shit?"

So Minneapolis is not off to a good start for SB festivities:
They lose the hometown Vikings, which will lead to a negative hit in ticket sales
Their area will be invaded by the team that not only beat them but also the most tiresome team in sports
SB Media Day goes from getting Jalen Ramsey and Team DUUUVAALLLL to the emotionless seemingly joyless robots that are the Patriots
Triple whammy

Negative ticket sales couldn't be further from the truth.

Pats rightfully favored and only by 5.5 at the moment
Hoping for a good game as Philly has taken their underdog label since Wentz went down and made it a rallying cry
However, it's hard to bet against the Pats when they are the Bar to be taken down

I swear idk where people are getting this negative ticket sales and the superbowl won't sell rhetoric from This isn't wrestling, this is a real sport in which things aren't predetermined. People want to see the two teams no matter who they are play to determine the champ. The Pats defend their title against the underdog Eagles. Just like this today against Jags you're going to have the Davis vs Goliath match up Add on the fact Brady can further cement his legacy as the best of all time and he's going to get the "Jordan comparison" of 6 titles in their respective sports

I'm going to take a knee on this next Super Bowl Sunday. I hate both teams with a passion and will not watch as a result.
Being from NYC, rooting for a team from either Philly or Boston is like choosing to be rendered blind or quadriplegic.
I think the Eagles will win it. Makes me physically ill thinking about it.

Not going to watch. Tired of New England being there and I just don't have any interest in the Eagles.

Eagles win, rooting for a good game.
I think Philly's defense neutralizes Brady, and their offense does just enough to win.

I mean, I'm a Pats fan, and even I admit this is the least interesting combination we could have gotten from today's games.
The only real story is if Brady can cement his place in history, as if he hadn't already.
At least the writers of The Good Place can breathe easy they don't have to throw away all those jokes.
