On the July 13th 1998 episode of Raw Shawn Michaels says shit twice during the night while on commentary, surprisingly it wasn't bleeped up either time.

Perhaps because you can say shit on TV now if you have the correct rating, which older RAWs probably have.

Shit is one of those curse words like damn and hell that's surprisingly becoming more acceptable.
Unlike f***, racist terms, and other such.. words that I won't describe.

Triple H says shit uncensored twice during the segment where he and HBK dump, well...shit all over the Spirit Squad and the McMahons.

Did THAT Harlem Heat promo make it through the scouring? Yes - in fact, it was the first thing Maffew looked up when he got the Network

They also inclue THAT Dudley Boys promo from Heat Wave (of course, considering that promo was also on the Rise and Fall of ECW dvd it's not that surprising).

During the Brock Lesnar/Zach Gowen match on the 8/21/2003 Smackdown, the network version shows you all the blood while the broadcast version cut away and had the screen faded to where you couldn't really see Zach's bloodied face.
Triple-H calling Steve Austin a pussy on the 1/15/01 Raw was kept intact on the network.

They probably didn't have bleeps on the master tapes on some of these, and nobody is bothering to re-bleep them.
Though, I did check out the Booker N-word promo to see what they did on the closed captioning, and they redacted the word with "Hulk Hogan, we're coming for you --."

They also kept in Piper calling Bruno a derogatory term for Italians (and we'll just leave it at that) on the Most Embarrasing Moments tape. Note that when that segment aired on the Bruno Sammartino home video, wwe 24/7 bleeped it out.

Shit's okay to say if you're TV-14, but WWE usually just tried to avoid that tier of cuss words if they could have avoided it, if anything because of advertisers.
They usually bleep it out of they could, but sometimes it slipped through, like the aforementioned DX mocking McMahons skit and JR at Backlash 2006.

One of the videos from wwe 24/7 that was previously uploaded to youtube had that word edited to "sucka" Everytime I listened to it I laughed that someone just took the sucka part and spliced it in like how I was editing audio at a previous job

"Voodoo Child" was left intact on a Hulk Hogan segment during Confidential Episode 2. Don't think that'll last very long.

WCW dubbed in "sucka" on the home video release, so WWE may have just aired that on 24/7 and went with the pay-per-view edition of the show for the Network.
