Jim Carrey Wrongful Death Lawsuit dismissed

Not something I would raise but Jim is an old favourite of mine and, given all that has happened in Hollywood lately, it's a relief to see he wasn't in the wrong. She obviously had issues and made fraudulent accusations before committing suicide

I disagree with the idea of him being unhinged.

It sounds like he's having (or had) some sort of spiritual awakening that led to him letting go of ego.

It's a faux-spiritual awakening. He's unhinged. Look at the Norm Macdonald podcast interview.

I unfortunately have to agree with the Jim Carrey is unhinged opinion. I was watching his Andy Kauffman documentary on netflix and at a certain point me and my dad just looked at each other and were like..He is losing his mind

I don't buy into the he's going looney stuff. We could be being worked while he's on any sort of camera and perfectly normal for the rest of the 24 hours.

He's a grandfather now, and paparazzi pictures and videos show him as a normal, doting grandparent around the child.

Maybe he has read a few self-help guides to spirituality after realising fame and fortune aren't fulfilling him, but at worst, he sounds crazy but is harmless.

I do hope this court case, even in his favour, hasn't damaged his reputation to stop him getting roles.

He's advocating a lifestyle but isn't exactly forcing anyone into it.

Watched with my best friend, a giant Jim Carrey fan, and we were both flabbergasted by Jim’s little speech at the end of the documentary. Love the guy, but he definitely is out there far far away at this point.
