I like long board games.
I guess the worst if it even counts is something like Cards Against Humanity...I just really don't find crudeness appealing in a group setting.
Best? Just about anything else. I love Monopoly and Poleconomy and decently long games. Me and my sister growing up would play sadistic Candyland where if you don't land on the exact color at the end of the game by turning over that exact card, you go back to start. Needless to say, I don't think we ever finished a game.

I love Risk and Monopoly but I hate the fact that you can see a loss coming 2 hours in advance and there's nothing you can do about it

Stratego is one of my favorites.
It's the type of thing you can't play just one specific person at for too long though.
Your bomb is right here, isn't it you asshole? (before the game has even started)
So weird how hard we synch up with each other in time.

Best: Scattergories. I love word games. Also Monopoly, because (old person alert) it makes me really happy that my nephew would rather play that with me than a video game. (We play video games too, but I like that his childhood isn't all screen-time).
Worst: Risk, because I suck at it. My eternal strategy is 'screw it, I'll just roll the dice and see what happens'.

Was there anything from Robocop that wasn't awesome? Robocop 3. I was strictly talking about the first movie, but good point none the less.

Crossfire is not nearly as fun and exciting as this commercial would suggest.

I have a lot of good memories of playing Ludo with my grandparents. On a less 'classic' note, played some fun ones at my local board game cafe, and one of the most fun was 'Sheriff Of Nottingham', which is all based around bluffing. With the right group of players it's hilarious.
Worst? Has to be Monopoly. But then, that is the entire point. It's a demonstration of the crushing hopelessness of the capitalist system.

Monopoly is both best and worst at the same time.
Other fun games are Arkham Horror, Eldritch Horror and Mansions of Madness from Fantasy Flight Games. All are coorporative games with a strong Lovecraftian theme.
Dungeonquest is heaps of fun, just for the sheer brutality and randomness of it.
Zombicide is always a blast to play.

If you play with 3 other people who have the patience to play to the end, know what they're doing (as well as calling it once it gets down to 1v1 and just counting net-worth, as the rules state you should) and don't throw the game to someone else when they know they've lost (we always do the "trade review" rule, where we can call foul if we think a trade is too one-sided), any decent form of Monopoly is fun.
I've never gotten into Risk, but I imagine it's the same thing; if you get people who know well enough how to play to have their own strategies and have the patience to see the game through, it'd be fun.
Connect 4 is top tier to me also.
Once you've done Card Against Humanity (whether you like it or hate it), Apples to Apples is so tame/boring, you just can't...
Battleship is kick-ass, but that electronic one from back in the day was lame. Having to punch in a code for a predetermined ship layout from the instruction book instead of just putting ships where you want (hint for any board-game hunters; if you see Electronic Battleship in a store w/o the instructions, forget it...unless you wanna bother hunting for one online and messing with that), as well as still having to call out your shots even though the appeal of the "electronic" part was to supposedly not have to do that sucked. But the worst part was, I'm not sure the ship layouts in the booklet matched the layouts saved in the game's memory. We'd have WAY too many games end early because the shots we called that the game registered as a hit didn't match the board of the person being attacked (or vice versa; a shot that should've been a hit registered as a miss to the game), and even when we'd cross-reference the booklet, it didn't add up.
