I didn't swerve anything. I read where she retweeted some truther bullshit and later said it wasn't meant to indicate she believed Sandy Hook was a government hoax. Since that is the extent, to my knowledge, of her Sandy Hook comments I will give her the benefit of the doubt.

Regarding the "transphobia," accusation I guess it is what it is. From what I read, she bashed someone who made foul, transphhobic comments but when asked her she stated her opinion , in a less than scholarly way, that a trans woman who had gender-reassignment post-puberty would probably have genetic advantages over a born female.

I don't know whether that is correct or not, but those comments are not enough for me to determine if she has a hatred of transgender individuals.
