Part time, one move per match, no promo, couldn't care less Brock is preferable to the onslaught of relentless Roman pushing on commentary, merchandise and every show ever thank you. It'd bad enough now. Imagine when he's actually champion, having beaten Brock. That's when the push REALLY starts. I feel the same way about it. Brock isn’t around much to be irritating to me. It’s going to be endless Reigns propaganda if he ends up with the universal title. I’ll be watching WWE even less if that’s what we end up with. I don’t hate Reigns. I don’t like him. I just don’t care. He hasn’t changed in any way since his failed WWE title runs to make me believe he’s top guy material.

Reigns. I don’t mind him and I’d take him over Cena any day.
I’m a Brock mark but I’m tired of him now.

I don't understand why anyone thinks Reigns winning will bring the "cramming Reigns down our throat" era to an end It won’t. No one thinks that. We’ve been going through the motions for a year now. We knew last year this was happening. As Cosmo Kramer once said of faking orgasms “It’s enough already and I just want to get some sleep”

A building code violation discovered 30 minutes before the event cancelling the whole thing.
Seriously, f*** off.

I don't understand why anyone thinks Reigns winning will bring the "cramming Reigns down our throat" era to an end I think it would benefit both Reigns, the WWE, and even the fanbase if he has a sustained run as champion. Of course he's going to be crammed down the fans' throats. That's not the issue. The problem with how WWE's handled Roman is their inconsistency, not the fact that he constantly wins. He SHOULD frequently win if they want him to be the ace. But if he finally is allowed that long title run, it'll answer all of the questions regarding whether he can carry the company or not.

I know you don't like my extreme cynicism, but it's helped me through my life to minimize disappointment, and I recommend that outlook. Then WWE can always strap the rocket to someone else. It's not really a Roman thing with me. He's good, but I mark out harder for Strowman on Raw. Ideally I'd rather see him beat Brock at Mania. But I'd argue for him to be booked as a badass who constantly wins as well (which he is anyway, he'd just be the champion in my scenario). If a promotion wants to build a star, they do need to "shove them down the throats" of the audience to an extent. Like with Kazuchika Okada, I think NJPW's doing exactly what they should with him. The difference is that there's a strong group of upper-midcarders who are presented as constant threats to Okada. Hence why WWE's "even-steven" booking pisses me off more than their superpushes.

Roman wins and I'll have to leave the board until he drops it. I'll be leaving as well, possibly permanently. It's going to be outright unpleasant.

I suspect it might not be as bad as you think, at least at first. This will be largely due to so many of us still celebrating that Brock doesn't have the belt anymore.

Given the typical negativity of WWE current, I'm not getting my hopes up I have no hope at all in that regard. What's ruining this board's atmosphere isn't just the complaints about the product. It's the complaints that not everyone likes what you like as if they're not allowed to voice objections. Some of you harp nonstop on the negativity here and hide behind being positive about an aspect of the product in order to sow ever more negativity directed at the posters/culture.

Give it to Reigns. Let him get a real straight up run as THE top champion for a decent amount of time.
Lesnar can go away.
