Gal is so god damn gorgeous and seems like a sweetheart in real life, it's like the closest thing to a perfect woman there is.

Gal is so god damn gorgeous and seems like a sweetheart in real life, it's like the closest thing to a perfect woman there is. I took my daughter to meet her at ACE Comic Con. She was so delightful to everyone, but when she saw little kids freaking out about meeting Wonder Woman, her face would light up. I've never seen someone at a meet and greet be so amazing with children before.

And when she went to a children's hospital in full Wonder Woman gear, just because she wanted too. Gal and Chris Evans are the best celebrities going today.

Well, that’s definitely interesting. I’d be really surprised to see this happen, WW84 is a potential $1 Billion box office. They must have something else they can move to keep this theatrical.

That would suck. Considering everything, understandable, but feels like it would have killed at the Box Office.

I'd just wait and release it whenever they get the chance. Straight to digital would be such a waste.

I'm glad they moved it, I don't know if I'll get to see it even then but at least I have a bit more hope with it being at a later date.

At least it wasn't a year like F9 or just indefinitely...... August is fine.

WW1984's now been moved to October 2nd. I am hoping with everything in me that I can go to see it, I just don't know. Depends on numbers I guess.

I think it's time to just put any planned 2020 releases on-demand. They'll still make bank. Just look at Trolls. Literally the only reason they won't is that there's some ego thing about movies being played first in theatres.

These threads make me want to jump off a roof now.
Let's face it, August is ridiculously optimistic. Push it until next year when there will hopefully be a vaccine or an effective treatment and the movie has a chance of making money with a theatrical release.

It's now October not August.

It's now October not August. Still very, very optimistic without any real reason to be. I deeply hope I'm wrong, but all the models are pointing to that being one of the absolute worst times to encourage gatherings.

Literally the only reason they won't is that there's some ego thing about movies being played first in theatres. Trolls 2 made bank because it was a kids movie that had a lot of hype behind it... the rental price is likely less than what a trip to the movies would have cost. Universal has not put out how much the rest of their movies have made at similar price ranges because they haven't done nearly as well.

I'm guessing that we're going to have to settle for having to watch Wonder Woman as part of the Justice League dark movie this summer

WB have high hopes WW84 will hit a billion and there's absolutely no chance of that happening unless every person watching it pays full price, so they won't put it on VOD unless they have no other choice.
