That’s going to be one long ass match Wasn’t there a 60 man Rumble in 2011? the 2011 one was 40 entrants.

At least they have a big enough roster to do this right in theory. Not like years past. I remember renting a Coliseum Video release in the early 90s because it promised a 40 Man Battle Royal. I was excited until I saw that at least half of the guys were of the Wrestling Challenge jobber variety - all of which were eliminated almost immediately. Then it was just a regular battle royal. I think Tatanka won. The young crusher was crushed with disappointment.

I love when the WWE tries crazy shit like this that doesn't really hurt the product. They have the freedom to experiment more and they should really take advantage of it.

I'm assuming it won't be televised, because they won't want it to be canon or have to take it into account for future booking.

I'm assuming it won't be televised, because they won't want it to be canon or have to take it into account for future booking. If that was the case Raw would have about three matches a month. They can easily sell this as some kind of "get a title shot at a B PPV" or something if they really wanted to, or make some kind of nothing trophy for the winner.

Also, considering they want to expand to those nations anyway, making it of some kind of circumstance would potentially get people to come back again when they next come around. Having a historic event in another country for a shot at, say, Backlash or MITB would do that. The difference between doing meaningless PPVs in the UK and doing Raw and Smackdown in the UK, as an example.

Boy, this is going to be intense for the one 16-year-old Saudi prince in attendance.

Thats the best birthday present that a royal family prince can possible want!
And it probably only cost his dad 100 million dollars.

Sydney or London would've been a better location for this event.

When the final four are Tatanka, IRS and BOTH Beverley Brothers, you know it's a disappointing battle royal!

Now that Roman has been announced for this, I’ll shed tears of madness if Roman gets yet another accolade to be the first ever universal champion to beat 50 superstars in one night.

You'd HOPE the winner gets something, because to survive and win a 50 Man Royal Rumble and get nothing is pretty sad...
