I'm not sure if there is actually an episode missing in those 1999 shows. It was the Jan. 15 1998 episode that had the technical issues on the live broadcast. The Network version is perfectly fine. I did notice that there's a segment with Randy Savage and Bret Hart missing from the May 14, 1998 show. So that segment is missing, but the painfully awkward Quest For Camelot segment is still there? That's weird. No, that QFC segment is gone. There's another one on a different episode that's cut, too. Also, multiple episodes are missing the short segments before commercials where a wrestler would promote the movie that was airing on TBS after the show.

I watched EP.1. It was cool to see the first Jericho/Flair match ever. Another plus was actually Mongo/Goldberg, surprisingly. Mongo actually got offense in and Goldberg did a little wrestling. There's a good back-and-forth segment with Bret/Flair, and I liked the tag match with the Steiners vs Buff/Konnan. But they started out Thunder with like 20 minutes of Nitro clips and then Macho Man/Chris Adams, and then later the Bischoff/Larry Z match pretty much in full (I skipped it so I don't know). Not the most riveting thing I've ever seen, but I'll watch some more just because early '98 was still a good time for WCW.

The first live wrestling show I ever went to was a Thunder so it has a very soft spot in my heart.

I'd love for a "Best" of Thunder anthology set.

WWE fixed the date errors for episodes 63-77. 74 and 76, though, still have each other's episode descriptions.

I never really watched WCW at the time but I did enjoy watching Nitro when it was added so I'll give this a look. I watched a bit of the first episode last night and couldn't help but notice it opened with about 10 minutes of recaps and Commentators talking haha.

The first thing I did was search for the Oct. 14, 1999 episode for the Nash silliness and of course they stopped before that. I might need to watch some of these again, but for my money Thunder in 1999-2000 is the worst wrestling program of all time.

Thunder had some decent moments, like the first ever tag team of Sting and Bret Hart vs. Randy Savage & Kevin Nash, of course since it was in 1998, it was run-ins galore from the nWo.

Just now watched the episode where Bagwell got hurt. They just threw money down the drain when he came back Yeah he's an asshat and all but the dude was starting to get a reaction when they teased him being a face and having Hogan push him out of his wheelchair. By the time they pulled the trigger on the face turn a year later with Scott Steiner, most people weren't buying it as they weren't sure if it was another nWo swerve.

The booking of Bagwell and Scott Steiner in the 2nd half of 1998 is some of the worst I've ever seen. The various non finishes to Rick vs. Scott, wasting Bagwell's return momentum, it was all just the worst crap. And what's worse is that I can't recall an actual blow off to any of it, a typical problem for WCW. They would just have guys feud for a few months, then it would just kind of peter out and there would be no catharsis.

They tried pulling that swerve about 3 or 4 times in late 98 and I think the fans just got sick of it.
