Besides my wrestling footage channel, which is linked in my sig is all footage I shot,I also have a Youtube channel that is based off my now dead podcast. It is Asshat Podcast on Youtube. For the past year or so I have been uploading a few videos each week. Showcasing and reviewing stuff like VHS,DVDs,Blu Rays, comic books and even old wrestling mags. Most weeks I upload the videos on Thursday/early Friday morning.
I asked Cornfed and he said it was cool if I made a thread here to post links to these videos.
Now while not every video needs one I am gonna put a blanket language warning on each video. Mostly cause I do swear more than a drunken sailor.
This was uploaded close to a month ago. Figured it would be of interest to the posters here at FAN.

When I found this Double Dare VHS it was still sealed. So it included all the extras inside the slipcase.
I live in a tiny rural town in the middle of Mississippi. So I was surprised to walk into a local thrift store and find 4 series of Black Adder on VHS.

I love the above shown movie and had to grab it when I found it cheap.
Anytime I find a still sealed VHS for under a buck I grab it. Part of it is I know some sealed VHS have a good value. The other part is I like opening the tapes and seeing what all is inside the tapes.

Anyone know if this VHS has been released on DVD or if it is on the Network?
Before the puppet movie,Team America was a toy based comic book from Marvel comics.

I think Eve of Destruction came out on dvd around 2001 as part of the Attitude collection, but from what I've heard it had no chapter stops or any way to skip.

I think Eve of Destruction came out on dvd around 2001 as part of the Attitude collection, but from what I've heard it had no chapter stops or any way to skip. Thank you for the info. That was one of the tapes I found last time I made a trip to Wesson. They got a great antique mall that is inside an old grain company building. It had piles of comics and DVDs. But very few VHS. I found maybe 10 VHS and bought half of them. Most of the other VHS in the vids I have posted so far have come from one of the three thrift shops/junkstores I told you about in a PM last year. Language warning for both videos. I am always finding boxes of comics I don't remember buying. So did a few videos showing what I found in various boxes. And here's a VHS I figure most posters here remember. I loved it when Burger King and McDonalds would sell VHS for cheap when you bought a meal. Sadly everytime I find one of these BK Kids Club TMNT tapes the slipcase is beat up. I figure that is mostly cause kids aren't the best at taking care of stuff.

You have read about it on Wrestlecrap. And maybe other places. So here is my short video review of the best film to come out from Air Bud Productions...

Then from April of 1982 here is a look at an issue of The Wrestler.

Language warming
Yep HB took the Scooby Doo premise added in Charlie Chan and his kids. Then made a Saturday morning cartoon out of it. And like with most HB cartoons of that time Amazing Chan and his Chan Clan got a comic book from Gold Key/Whitman.

I wish I could say I loved the second film.

I think it's funny how i'll always associate the second movie with that Vanilla Ice song and Kevin Nash rather than the turtles themselves.

Oh boy you in for a treat then My lady ,who is a huge TMNT fan, keeps telling me I should watch it. But then she has enjoyed all of the TMNT movies besides the two from Bay. Just like how she loves the Fred Wolf cartoon and thinks it is better than the Foxkids one. Were as I think the Fred Wolf cartoon is ok,but LOVE the Foxkids cartoon. I chalk most of it up to how both of us first got introduced to the franchise. For me I was 12 or so and got some issues of the Mirage comic a year or so before the Fred Wolf cartoon started. She was a young kid when the Fred Wolf cartoon started.

I didn't plan on making this review into two videos. But got halfway thru the book ,realized how long I had been recording and that I had to go use the restroom,so broke it up into two videos.

The 80's show is what made me into a fan. I remember in the late 90's going to a Family Dollar or Dollar General and finding a lot of tapes from the later seasons. Cause for the longest time I had only seen the first season.

My issues with the 80s show aka the Fred Wolf show is all the changes made to the material that were not needed. Like why not keep each turtle having the red bandannas. And do like they did in the comic and draw each turtle a bit different so you could tell them apart. I also didn't care for how they majorly changed how some of the turtles were. While Mikey was the fun loving member in the Mirage comic. He was never the braindead pizza obsessed person he was on the Fred Wolf cartoon.
But hey the 80s cartoon is what took the Turtles from being a cult hit in the comic market to being a franchise that has spanned at least 2 generations of kids. And it made Eastman and Laird into millionaires.
I do wish Laird would exercise his right to put out a few issues a year of the original version of the Turtles. But it looks like that isn't going to happen.
