In the early days of Image, back when they were being pubished by Malibu,Don Simpson did a parody comic about the Image 7. I am guessing either it didn't sell well and/or it pissed off some of the Image 7,cause while the last page mentions a second issue AFAIK I can't find any proof that it came out.

There was a second issue of Splitting Image, I used to own it (a long time ago). It's listed on comics.org for what it's worth: www.comics.org/issue/52815/

I had looked at a few places online and never saw proof it actually got published. Thank you sir for letting me know it is out there. Might see if Hero's Haven has a copy. Now I need to track down the 1 or 2 issues of Stupid that Image published.

Oh man, Fangoria. That takes me back to the magazine section of Waldenbooks. I remember flipping through it when I was too young to rent the movies, and feeling like I got away with something.

Until I got a subscription I would flip thru Fango at Waldens in the mall. For a fairly long time I had a huge collection of Fango and Gorezone. Then during one of my every 5 years or so purges I sold off most of my issues. Thankfully by the time I got into reading Fango I was about 10 and my parents were pretty cool about letting me read it. And would let me rent pretty much any horror movie I wanted. The only one I can remember I wasn't allowed to rent was I Spit on your Grave. Which I totally get. Even now in my mid 40s that is a movie that gets under my skin in a way no other film does.

Years ago I saw a poster in my local theater for Freddie as FR07. Then kinda forgot about it. Found this VHS at the local thrift and grabbed it. It is a slightly redited version of Freddie as FR07. This time with James Earle Jones doing the narration.

Loved Archie since I was a kid in the 70s. Got into the Punisher right before his first mini started. So this was a crossover I loved.

Language warning I got at least 5 or so sets from Mill Creek. Mill Creek's video quality varies. I dont have this one, but I do have the 50 horror classics dvd which has awful video quality. However, I also have the Essential Ernest collection which has good quality, as well as the tv mini-series set they put out. While I've only watched Tin Man, it seems to also be in decent quality (then again, it's relatively recent). I wonder how the quality is on their cartoon dvds.

The mill Creek cartoon sets I got look decent. But it all depends on the size and type of tv you are using. I got a middle of the road 50 inch Samsung hooked up to a Samsung Blu ray. So nothing amazing, and the Mill Creek Cartoon sets I have got look decent. Some of their TV sets suffer from a bit too much compression. But it looks like you are watching a good broadcast signal in the 80s thru a good antenna. So watchable but nothing amazing.
