With Daniel Bryan coming back I feel like rewatching that. So as with everything I do I need other people's opinions and validation. Anyway I still think its my favorite Mania ever. To be fair I never watch them live because I'm cheap and have not enough wrestling fans to watch things live with and this was the first one. The only negatives are it takes 30 minutes after promo (which beyond WWE's control has aged not well) and packages to get started with the wrestling, Lesnar and UT was a bit plodding and the booking of the Wyatt Cena match made no sense storywise. Also it was the first WWE network event and I got to meet Vader as I watched it at a local TGIFridays

It’s my favourite modern WrestleMania. It was the first time I went to a bar to watch a wrestling show so the atmosphere was amazing and the show itself was pretty much WWE’s first real attempt at giving younger and newer talent the platform for a real long time.
Outside of Bryan’s victories, Cesaro winning the Andre was my favourite part. I remember telling the people around me “Man, wouldn’t it be awesome if Cesaro picked up Show and threw him out?” AND THEN HE DID THAT! Got a huge pop in the bar, it was awesome.
Oh, and Brock beating Taker got a reaction as though England lost the World Cup Final to Germany by penalties. It was deathly quiet, never heard anything like it before.

Best modern Wrestlemania by miles.
In fact when I look back, I'd only have 17 and 19 ahead of it.
Cena beating Wyatt was the wrong decision but other than that it was fantastic.

An amazing show. At the time (ie live) it felt like a full stop on the previous era and ushering in the new generation, with decisive wins for Bryan, Bryan, Cesaro, The Shield...
Of course, come to think of it, only one of those men is yet to win a World title now.

Its quite strange to think how small of a card Wrestlemania 30 was. 1 pre show match and 8 main show matches.

It was he first Mania I got to attend live after waiting 22 years ( I started watching right before Wrestlemania 8) for it to come to the Superdome. Naturally it’s going to have a special place in my heart for that reason alone but damn what a great show. I’ll never forget sitting there in stunned silence with the rest of the crowd when the streak ended. Watching the clinic that Daniel Bryan put on that night got me right in the feels. Outside of the outcome of the Cena/Wyatt Match I enjoyed everything about the show. I’m still trying to get some money together so I can take my son to his first Wrestlemania this year even if it is in the cheap seats. The potential of seeing Bryan return to the ring at the site of his greatest success is too much to pass up.

What's funny/sad is that those instances seemed to be cursed. Less so since Bryan IS coming back, but think of what happened to him after his win, then how things turned to crap for Bret in the next 3 years after Mania 10. And then there's Benoit...

Great PPV, but the Cena feud really did kill my interest in Wyatt.

Two memories of WM30.
1. Getting so restless during the Brock/'Taker match that I just went and made some food, tea and got a smoke. Saw the 3rd F5 and thought "wow, Undertaker's kicking out of a 3rd F5. That's a lot." Needless to add, they had my attention after that.
2. Daniel Bryan's ascension to the crown. Says a lot about the man that he got the crowd back after the absolute punch to the windpipe that was the ending of the streak.

Also, Bryan/HHH is without question, the best match of HHH’s career for me. I want to see the HHH I saw that night more than the “injure one body part forever in almost a downright crawl” style he loves using.

This is the last Mania I watched live, and yeah...it turned out great.
Totally agree about Bryan and Hunter absolutely tearing the place apart, just a great match, definitely HHH's best match in a long while.
Undertaker losing was absolutely a WTF moment.
Cena winning didn't bother me as much as the jackass referee going, "Come on, John. Put the chair down. This isn't you!" Just do your f***ing job, ref. If he hits him, DQ him, and move on.
And of course, DB/Orton/Batista is fantastic even if we knew the outcome.

Who thought Triple H had a tiger suplex in him?

WM30 felt like the Mania I watched that was actually booked as a cohesive show with ups and downs. The show kicks up the feel good finishes, with big bombastic babyface victories one match after the other, and then Brock vs Undertaker happens. f***ing screeching halt, nobody knows what to think, walk of shame, and all that right before the main event. People who were getting bored by that point were now paying attention again because holy shit, Undertaker just lost, we are through the looking glass, anything could happen now. It made Bryan's final triumph that much sweeter.

The Cena/Wyatt match is some of the strangest and most inexplicable booking I can remember ever seeing in wrestling.
Beyond the dullness of face Cena winning again... like, did Cena screw up? Was he not supposed to hit Rowan with the chair? Because that just destroyed the whole thing and made it baffling. The lesson seems to be, "If someone wants to be hit with a chair, then hitting them with a chair means you're a monster and your legacy will be ruined. If someone doesn't want to be hit with a chair, then hitting with a chair is totally fine and means nothing."

Daniel Bryan's Monster video, along with Jeff Hardy's Rooftops, are some of the finest video packages WWE ever produced since the Invasion/early Ruthless Aggression era.

Best modern day Wrestlemania ever. I was super into the product during this period. Post Mania 29 was lighting in a bottle for WWE. They will never capture that same magic during that 14 month period.
There was great stuff happening, even the bad stuff was entertaining because when WWE does bad stuff like for example that ceremony on the go home show before TLC 2013.
Honestly after Wrestlemania 30 is when I slowly stopped watching weekly TV with the Bryan issue and them f***ing up Ambrose a bit in the fall and the lackluster Raws being put on.

Weird coincidence as Iv been rewatching it myself. It is the Daniel Bryan Wrestlemania 🙂
Besides that though The crowd reaction to Takers loss is incredible and summed up in this emoji 😱 The Brock match itself was so so anyway, not bad but not a patch on there 2002/03 battles
