So Rose Namajunas is out of UFC 249 for "undisclosed reasons" and José Aldo is out of UFC 250. Now Dominick Cruz is set to challenge Henry Cejudo for the bantemweight title instead. Unfortunately, it looks like she had a death in the family due to COVID-19. This card really should not happen.

This card(and cards for the foreseeable) really shouldn’t be happening, I agree.

I think Dana White has officially achieved a higher level of carny than Vince McMahon.

Not just Aldo but most of the Brazilians on the card are out due to the change in venue. Shogun vs. Rogerio is off altogether and three more fights need a new fighter.

UFC 249 has been cancelled and all UFC events are postponed. Dana said it was taken out of his hands which makes sense because he's insane.

But good to see common sense put its foot down for once.

Just heard on the radio that top Disney and ESPN execs pressured him into making the decision.

Just heard on the radio that top Disney and ESPN execs pressured him into making the decision. Watching a video of with him and Brett Okamoto on ESPN's MMA youtube channel now and Dana said that he got word from the "highest levels" of Disney and ESPN, which I can only imagine were Bob Iger and James Pitaro finally called him and ordered him to not do it. He sounds like a raving maniac honestly. He's seeing this whole thing as a challenge. He sees people telling him to not do shows, not as a plea for some common sense, but as a hurdle for him to overcome. He is looney tunes. To his credit, he's not laying anyone in the UFC off and assuring everyone that works for the UFC that they don't have to worry about money. But Dana White is a maniac.

He went full idiot, you never go full idiot If you going to pay the fighters anyway, stop trying to make them risk their health and go out and fight. It shouldn't have even got this far. No doubt the top executives gave him an earful

It is astounding that it took this long for the obvious to happen. Dana is nuts.
